My favorite flat ride here at Knoebels!! This gives some insane laterals even when the ride starts as well as airtime!! This is also a ride I would recommend riding barefoot. This is probably my favorite one to ride barefoot, too. I just especially love getting the air on my toes on this ride!! This ride is great! Hands down. It starts off spinning you in a circle and then slowly starts to shoot you upward further and further until the "legs" of the ride are completely straight outward. It makes loud whooshing noises, hence the name Downdraft, and is definitely great for thrill seekers of medium to expert experience. Unique ride, I don’t think I’ve seen one anywhere else. The ride cycle is fun, but it doesn’t do a whole lot. Great for what it does, but there are a whole lot of rides here I enjoy more. Try to do it at least once...
