Anyone that says this is more than a 1 is lying, this is BY far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, the front desk lady is the only pleasant thing about this place.
I walk Into my room, first thing I see is stains all over my walls, I check the bed, left the covers, HUGE stain of either blood or puke, the stain was the size of a plate, absolutely disgusting,
Dirty towels, stained, half a roll of toilet paper, seat had pee stains on it
I finally had enough of the room, and asked for a different one, little did I know this one would be SO MUCH worse than the first one,
I get into the second room, immediately see black mold in the bathroom, with old, piss stained mat in the tub, and the ceiling was LAYERED in spider webs, we counted 8 pretty big spiders just on the ceiling crawling around
NOPE ITS NOT OVER YET!!! I lift the sheets up!!! And see DEAD ANTS AND SPOTS ALL OVER THE MATTRESS TO RESEMBLE BED BUGS!!!! BED BUGS!!!!!!!!
So I’ve never had to do this in my life and I’ve stayed in some, what I thought was bad places in my life, but I had to take me and my wife, my mom and my dad, and we had to go across the street to the Hampton, which is light years better than this SUPER 8 will ever be
They need to hire cleaners, fix there sludgy pool, rip the Smokey carpet up, clean the damn walls, redo the bathrooms, get new beds/sheets And completely guy this place and start over,
This place is a ZERO out of ten and I recommend this to nobody

My room smelled horrific, like a mix between dirty feet & 20 years of smoking. Even leaving the window open all day, when I returned the smell was still very noticable. The comforter had visible stains on it, as did one of my towels in the bathroom. The carpet appears to have not been washed since 1980 (likely part of the smell!). Additionally, there was drywall damage that was (poorly) hidden behind a mirror in my room, there was some kind of nasty gunk on the wall behind my in-room desk, and the chair at the desk was so dirty I refused to even put my bag in it let alone sit in it. The tub was cracked in several areas (just old I guess?). The lobby at least was clean and it didn't smell bad, just smelled like chlorine since the pool is right next to it. The Continental breakfast seemed very popular, though I did not eat anything here due to my concern of the cleanliness of the hotel. I will say the area is convenient as you can walk to most of what Rogers has to offer from there. DO NOT stay here if you're wanting a refreshing place to rest after a long day. It's inexpensive, but there's definitely a reason. I wish I had paid the additional $30/night and stayed at the Holiday Inn...
Read moreDo not stay here until management fixes their mold problem.
I stayed at the Super 8 in Rogers MN this weekend and discovered visible black mold in my assigned room. I reported it immediately and hotel staff attempted to move me — but every alternate room they showed me 7 additional rooms total that had visible mold. Not just that but they’ve been knowing about this issue for a year now. Other guests have brought this to their attention multiple times and the owners and higher ups aren’t doing anything about it.
The presence of mold in multiple guest rooms demonstrates a systemic hazard and failure to provide a safe, habitable environment.
This situation placed my husband, my children that have extremely bad asthma, myself and other guests at risk of mold exposure, which is known to cause respiratory and other health issues.
I documented these conditions with photographs and video, and I have retained copies of all correspondence regarding my complaint.
No hotel should allow guests to stay in conditions like this. I have reported it to corporate and the health department along with my attorney.
Until this problem is addressed, I strongly recommend avoiding...
