DQ, Rogers. I ordered a cake online in advance, a minimum of 2 days noticed for customized cakes, I was ordering 6 days in advance. It didnt give me the option of choosing the flavor of the ice cream. I called the store to ask how I can add the flavor, before I finished my question, the staff who answered was whining to another staff who was going home, about not knowing what I was talking about. Well, She didn't let me finish explaining my situation before she tried to pawn me off. The lady she asked told her while I was on the phone, if it's an online order there is nothing she can do to help me. The 1st lady was told to take a phone order. I proceed to tell her I wanted to customize the cake with Oreo ice cream, before I could tell her more, she was whining again, about not knowing what I was saying. I said to her, I am speaking English, you keep interrupting me, and at this point she asked another staff, a man this time, to help me. He informed that he wasnt sure if the cake customizations were possible because he didnt know the delivery time for their supplies. But he was more helpful Than the two lady before. All three staff were not familiar with online cake orders or customizations etc... maybe DQ should take online cake orders off their page until all their staff are trained to work with customers. I asked to cancel my order. I was informed by the staff my order 1926744 will be cancelled and I would...
Read moreI had the misfortune of eating at this Dairy Queen a week ago. First off the girl at the drive thru was short with me and rude (younger girl, red hair). I should have known there was a problem when the guy ahead of me aggressively pulled out of the drive thru lane without getting his food. When I got to the window she tried giving me a drink and I told her it wasn’t part of my order. She asked me if the guy ahead of me drove off and I said yes. She then shut the window and I heard her say loudly “I think I’m going to lose it!” She then disappeared for some time, and a guy showed up. I heard him through the window, while looking at the computer screen, saying “Why is this still on here?! Why the f is this still on here?!” He then handed me a bag of food. I of course knew it was not going to be the right order. I pulled up a bit and it was chicken strips and fries. I ordered a double cheeseburger and cheese curds. I proceeded to go inside to get the correct food. The red haired girl asked me if he gave me strips with fries and I said yes. She went to bag my correct food, meanwhile the guy who was making the food, who was also at the window earlier, shot me a glare, the “how dare you come in here to get the correct food that you ordered” sort of a glare. Then the red haired girl handed me my bag, turned around, and walked away. No apology, no thank you, nothing. The service here is so bad it has to be experienced to...
Read moreCame thru drive thru at 3:59pm placed order at exactly 4:00pm for 3 piece chicken strip lunch. Was told they did not serve that after 4 o'clock keep in mind that it was exactly 4 when I placed my order. I advised the order taker that the sign says served 11am to 4pm and it was exactly 4pm when I ordered. She said it now was 4:01pm and she would not place the order. I left the drive thru unserved. I then called the manager and explained the situation. She offered me to come back and be served. I explained I was on my lunch break and at a competitors getting served. I would like to also mention that I was at the same Dairy Queen yesterday and ordered the exact same thing with the gravy. The gravy had the consistency of whole milk not thicker like most other Dairy Queens I have been to. In conclusion I believe the manager of the store would have tried to satisfy me with a discount or something but that would not have fixed the situation. The fix is to tell the employee taking the orders that if a customer orders something that has a time line and they are there at anypoint of that time line...
