I would give them an overall score of 3, except the staff was so outstanding I have to upscale it to a 4. First, the good. The staff were all simply amazing. Friendly, helpful, personable etc etc etc. When we checked in, there were no other customers behind us, so the clerk walked us to our room! I have NEVER been walked to my room. Usually, there are some vague directions and a hand wave in the general direction. During breakfast, the working attendant was in the kitchen and another employee was eating her breakfast. When she realized there were no plates for the new guests walking in she got up from her meal and went back to get more plates for them. Large game room for kids, also a large "social area" where you could meet if you were part of a group. Basically lots of room to gather outside of a room if you wanted to. Now the not so good. Parking, there are 10 non-handicapped spots by the front door. All the rest of the parking is around the sides of the building. So far as I know, there are no side entrances, so you are going to hoof it back to the front. Our room was a Suite, but only had 1 tv. Fortunately it was "wireless" so we could move it to whichever room we were in. The bed was a new "ikea" style looking thing. Basically a 4 wall metal frame for the base with metal covering which the mattress laid on. If you're thinking it sounds like a big snare drum, we'll, you'd be spot on. Every time you...move...get cool sound effects. Nuff said? Over all, a very cute hotel, needs lots of TLC maintenance wise, but would definitely stay here again...just in a room with a...
Read moreBeautiful and clean. When you walk in your eyes are stunned. It's very fancy. The staff was wonderful. It's an old retirement home. So it's not modern, or has a pool. But they have a game room and free home cooked breakfast. Not the microwave stuff or the powder eggs that you get from most hotels. They have a sun room; it's a library, my daughter loved that room. The gym is small, just a kettle bell and some cardio equipment. But it works. I would suggest walking the neighborhood. It's beautiful. Our room was like a one bedroom apartment. We had 3 beds and a walk in shower. It was out dated, but worked out perfectly for us. Enchanted suites is not in the main busy street (I like that part) but target is right across the street. Walmart is a 5 min drive. And all the Alien walk stuff is all over and a 10 minute drive from the hotel. My family had the best time. We will definitely come back...
Read moreI remember when I was a kid, my parents brought us to a place that was similar to this, and I feel like in over 20 years of traveling I haven't been able to find one.
But somehow this was here and we were so grateful! We went from sleeping in some other smaller locations trying to fit 2 parents and 4 kids into a 2 bed/1pullout couch to this amazing location with 2 double beds and a separate room with a king.
My whole family slept well. Staff was amazing. I know they are still pretty new, but even though they were new we were well taken care of. I can only imagine how much more they'll have when they are fully set up.
Seriously the only place in years that I have honestly wanted to leave a review for good reasons. lol.
Thanks Tony for your help with the booking and thanks to the lady that took our multiple calls the day before to answer all of our random...
