The Greens on Stockton Blvd. — Hotel in Sacramento

I apologize to the management for giving such a low rating. I cannot give a better rating in all conscience.

1, When I checked in, there was a puddle of urine in the room. The front desk guy was nice enough to give me another room right away but the puddle of urine in a room? 2, I contacted Vio.com which is where I booked the room. They said that "even if the hotel agrees to reimburse for an 'exceptional refund', our 'booking partner' may not agree for the refund, and you will know that 21 days later." I then went to a grocery store which is closeby, and a couple of girls literally stole $600 worth of items from the grocery store. I spoke to the security guy who came back after chasing them, and he said "are you mad ... why did you book your room in this area ... didn't you see what just happened?"

Stockton Blvd is where a lot of crime happens in this city. Please do your research before booking your room in Sac. And please never ever book a room at this motel. If you h_ave to, at least book it with them directly. Vio.com, Super.com, etc are scumbags. These third party folks will not be of help if you fall in trouble the way I did.

Edit: Vio did follow up and gave me an option for early checkout. However, they said reimbursement will take north of seven days so I declined the offer. It was nice of Vio for following up and doing something to help...

It was so easy to book my reservation. The reception I received was gracious, friendly and respectful. He had a demure aura about him as if nothing could bother him. Hmmm.. I wonder how he does that, lol. The room was simple, yet had a European classic elegance. The king size bed, all dressed in white, appeared a smooth cotton satin. It was so comfortable, so smooth on my skin, I did not want to get out of bed and leave. There was no itchiness at all from the sheets or pillowcases. The bathroom shower is beautiful. The tile is exotic; I loved it. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash attached to the shower itself and were filled to the brim. The towels were dressed with an artistic flair and not too soft, too rough, just perfect. There is a desk in the room, two nightstands, a small frig and a microwave. A 32” color TV is on the wall. The area, the location might appear less than middle class, but the motel is definitely a great place to stay and very affordable. It was very quiet all night, no disturbances whatsoever. The other people on site were friendly and smiled. This reminds me of a classic car known as a sleeper, where it appears less than perfect and then you pop up the hood and it’s ready to go with cool, undeniable...

This hotel is a testament to good management, and attention to detail. The remodel was beautiful. The customer service was wonderful. I checked in late at night, and the gentleman who helped me was very professional. I stayed in 30 hotels last year for work, and the cleanliness and attention to detail is on point with top-of-the-line chains. The neighborhood is terrible, and it’s a little scary when you first drive up because there is a huge gate in place that reminds you of being in another country. However, they have high-level security measures in place because they know that it isn’t the best area. They have done the absolute best with what they have. It’s incredibly impressive. Im a customer service manager, so I’m really blown away with how well they did. I would invest with these people... I stayed at the Roy Inn the next night, and it was horrific. The Roy Inn is filthy, scary and disgusting. The Greens is the same price, and 1 million times better. I would recommend the greens hotel to anyone who wants a clean, safe, well priced room.
