This is a very nice park (tough to get reservations to). Iâd say this is right at the top of my âparks to come back toâ list. Very secluded sites, restaurant in the park, 4 miles of beach with boat rentals. We stayed in the shark eye loop with a camper thatâs 31 feet to the hitch. I was towing with a long bed, crew cab Silverado and we barely fit into site number 48. All the sites in this loop looked short for our type of rig. Also, the sites are not level nor are they paved. But I wonât complain because my camper was nestled deep in the trees and it was very private site. A short walk through the woods leads to a small laundromat and nice showers.    Read moreI have many childhood memories of camping with family and friends here. Now, I got to return with my own family and started an amazing journey that I can share with them. The campsites are clean and they do need a little attention as they drop off hard from the pavement. You can walk to the beach. It was under a mile 1 way from our site and safe and easy walk. You can walk the trails. You can also walk from the campsite to the amphitheater right next door. I am already looking for the next open weekend so we can go back. This campground is very hard...

It's a shame because the trees are beautiful and there is a nice buffer space however everything from the overly narrow entrance gate to the turns surrounded by concrete domes, to the campground loop entrances with fences to narrow your path all seems designed simply to make it possible to damage your RV. And there's absolutely no reason for any of these obstructions as there is plenty of space, but whoever designed this place seems intent to make it more likely for you to...
