Anastasia Beach is a stunning stretch of coastline located in St. Augustine, Florida. From the moment I stepped onto the sand, I was struck by the beauty of the beach. The sand is soft and powdery, and the water is crystal clear and inviting.
One of the things that sets Anastasia Beach apart is its size. It's a large beach, so even on busy days, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the sun and surf. The beach is also very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of trash cans and recycling bins available.
The waves at Anastasia Beach are perfect for swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing. There are lifeguards on duty during the day, which adds an extra level of safety and peace of mind. The beach also has a variety of amenities, including showers, restrooms, and picnic tables, making it a great spot for a day trip with friends or family.
One thing to note is that parking at Anastasia Beach can be challenging, especially during peak season. However, there are several parking lots and street parking options nearby, so with a bit of patience, you can find a spot.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Anastasia Beach. It's a gorgeous, family-friendly destination with plenty of activities to keep you entertained...
Read morePleasant park staff, clean facilities, nature trails and the ocean. Could it get better? Yes!! Each site offers power ((1)30amp hookup and (2) 20amp regular US plugs), fie pit with grill grate & water (you should bring a small hose). Level compacted ground for easy tent setup and take down. Every site is seemingly carved out of the trees with very little of the natural environment being disturbed. They have RV sites as well, (3) holding tank pump stations, large critter resistant dumpster well away from the campsites. Be mindful of the local critters, they’re acclimated to people and aren’t shy. So if you leave any food out they won’t mind trying to join in.. lol. Overall a great place, will...
Read moreAnastasia State Park Beach was wonderful! We visited there on a Tuesday morning in late April, and the miles of beach were nearly empty! Water was chilly but sunny temps in the 70's. Conditions were perfect for strolling, sunbathing, digging in the sand, whatever. Gift shop has everything you could need for a day at the beach, including folding chairs and beach umbrella for rent! So important for visitors like us who flew to Florida, so didn't have our own chairs, etc. Also the snack bar sandwiches were freshly made, huge and delicious. We enjoyed them in an open-air but shaded, covered seating area. Plenty of parking and a short walk...
