Villa Marbella USVI — Hotel in Saint Thomas

I loved the views here! I stayed in the Frenchman's View Loft and I loved that it had this great size patio. It was like an extension of our room. The view of the pool and beyond to the ocean was fantastic. There was a 5 to 10 minute hike down to a semi-private stretch of beach that we loved. There were tall rocks near where we put our things that kept sand off and also provided shade. The waves were little and calm. Nice and relaxing spot. You have to hike back up but I thought that was nice too, because it was like a free mini hiking excursion. In regards to the loft itself, my husband can get pretty warm in regular hotels, but this place did stay pretty cool with the air conditioner and stand up fans they have in there, plus the ceiling fan so that was a plus. They do have two dogs that were quiet and calm, so if you are not a dog person (like me), this still worked out. They would come for a minute or so and eventually leave on their own or they were easy to coax back into their area. My husband is a dog person so he was happy to see the pooches. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Only suggestion to a visitor is be aware that you will be driving up and down hills and on the left hand side to go back and forth. Taxis may not go up that high. But my husband caught on with the driving and we were good to go. My husband also enjoyed seeing the cruise ships come in and out of port because this location was the pathway for them. The pool is really nice. I felt like I was "living the life!" like a celebrity. lol Anyway, I recommend this place and I hope others enjoy it as much as I did. Leah and Gunner, thanks...

Me and 4 of my buddies booked this place for a guys getaway. We walked into a beautiful main room and kitchen that was designed to the Tee!! the master bedroom was beautiful with view to the West and South and some of the east, I think..lol. all the amenities we needed were there with very clear instructions and hints on how to have a great time and answer any questions about the House (19 pages). everyting worked , no issues with house at all. the pool and self controlled air conditioners in each room was a huge plus as you know all of us doing not have the same body heat! lol. we enjoyed so much sitting at the pool and watching the sunsets and listening to great tunes we bluetoothed into the houses sono speakers which were aweome. not the little ones but the big daddy speakers in house and out at the pool. each room was very well decorated and comfortable and spacious. we also loved how close it was to down town STT and also we could get to several restaurants and beahes within a short 5-20 min drive if we wanted. This place will impress your friends if you go to show. we had fun now it's your turn. we left it in great shape. I'll be added pics later. Where do I start? Villa Marbella was perfect for our 4 couples on our vacation to Saint Thomas.||- Fantastic View!|- All the amenities of home and a cook's kitchen|- The pool was a go- to at least 2 times a day. (Very clean)|- 4 comfortable bedrooms with terrific bedding and toiletries provided. Be aware that 1 bedroom has a spiral staircase to the bed in a loft and 1 has some steep steps to get to the bed in a loft.|- A safe beach that is essentially private. A medium 10 minute hike to the beach for most people. The rest our crew had absolutely no trouble at all, but I’ve had 2 hip replacements so if you have some trouble guiding yourselves down a kind of rocky trail, be careful.|-If you're not familiar with driving on the left hand side of the road, there's a great driver named Junior who can take care of you (for a fee).||Thanks to the owners Clarke and Elizabeth for being Johnny-on-the-spot with any answering any questions we had!||Overall Villa Marbella was, in a...
