The Longboard — Restaurant in Saint Thomas

All I can say is wow. We had the best lunch here on our visit to St Thomas…..the best one during our trip.

First of all, the service was fantastic. Our server was also the bartender and she managed both roles perfectly. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but she worked during happy hour which was when we had our late lunch. Lucky for us that happy hour means tacos are $5 as are the sliders. Today it was mahi mahi sliders and any taco. We had the carnitas, the carne, the shrimp and jerk chicken tacos. EVERYTHING was delicious and served with a smile and kindness in a timely manner. We never felt neglected.

I am glad that it didn’t end there. The place is clean, modern and inviting and the view is spectacular.

I wasn’t planning on coming back to St Thomas but it now looks like I’ve changed my mind, and when we do come back, The Longboard will be at the top of our list of places to visit.

Well I decided to leave a review for the restaurant, my mistake for the fact that when I looked up "Longboard St Thomas" it gave me the results for the one on St John, an honest mistake but I can take the fault for that. But of course then I get a snarky reply "from the owner" so I guess both of your restaurants can have 1 star review from me. And maybe if the owner spend less time being rude to guests that are giving them feedback on their clearly under performing restaurant and spent half of that time fixing up their establishment then they may get fewer complaints...

Party of 4 adults 2 kids. Good points first. We arrived early n wait was not long. Great new decor n ambiance though lamp over our table was full of web n bugs. Servers were pleasant. Drinks came 2 at a time..chips n trio salsa were good. .downhill from there. My Japanese "bowl" had so much crunchy rice noodles I could barely find the minimal tuna n avacado. Messy soupy taco dinner fell apart. Fish sandwich was OK. Smash burger was OK n chick fingers were OK. Waited n waited for refill of lemonade. Only 2 bar drinks were ordered. Bill over $300!
