Lambermont Events — Hotel in San Antonio

We had our wedding in March 2020, right before there was a restriction on crowds/groups. Donna and Erica made my entire experience a memorable one. They were helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, flexible, sweet, caring, and kind throughout the 12+ months I had to prepare and plan for my wedding. We met several times throughout this time to answer any questions I had, which made me feel very comfortable. They also had materials and handouts to assist you with the process and put it all in a nice little binder to help you keep track of all vendors. I used this binder every step of the way and it was PERFECT! Don’t know what questions to ask vendors? No problem, Donna and Erica have you covered! They provide a list of questions that are helpful when vendor shopping too. The place was absolutely gorgeous and clean! We booked the weekend package and we enjoyed every single thing about it. From the place itself to the selection of pastries and mimosas while I was getting dressed, to the emergency vendor needed the morning of (thank you Donna and Erica!!), to the wonderful breakfast Donna prepared for me and my guests the next morning, to biding us goodbye. On the day of my wedding, they were both there making my guests feel welcomed and very attentive. They even had items for me to use that I forgot or didn’t even think of. For anyone looking to have your event here, I would definitely recommend the weekend package and if you can, definitely book Donna as the wedding planner/coordinator! Donna is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn’t book Donna as the planner/coordinator and that would be my only regret. In the end, I would have spent the same amount. It’s been almost a year since our wedding and I can’t help but remain thankful that we had such a wonderful experience, especially since weddings aren’t an every day event you get to plan. My wedding was just this past weekend 9/15/18. The house is beautiful, the ladies of Lambermont are beautiful, but not typical...

We had a devastating last minute change at our original venue. I found Lambermont and Ms. Dona was able to accommodate us and get us in so we did not have to change our date with only 2 weeks away. As we arrived to the castle, I was greeted by Ms. Dona, she showed us to our room and then immediately went into planning table and chair setups. Not to be unreasonable, but we changed our minds a few times on placements and decorations; Ms. Dona and Ms. Erica were able to accommodate every single change. They helped us with access to their sound equipment because I had a specific song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. The person that was supposed to help queue the music was not able to make it, so Ms. Erica stepped in without hesitation. Ms. Dona was helping my husband and his best man with their boutonnières and getting every one seated and stationed for my entrance. My Maid of Honor had her twin toddlers there and they were so nice to the girls, so I’m not sure who said Lambermont is not child friendly but that is definitely NOT TRUE! I could literally write an entire article about my experience and how well we were treated by the ladies of Lambermont. They helped us so much with last minute details. At the end of the evening before the ladies retired; Ms. Erica asked if she could get us anything else. My husband said, “another bottle of wine would be great”. We went back inside, and there it was. From their personal inventory (we were out of what we brought in). It moved me to tears. These ladies are fantastic.

Our wedding experience at the Lambermont was truly magical. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous - every corner is so unique and beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning place to say “I do”.

Erica and Donna were nothing short of amazing. They were both incredibly attentive, constantly checking in with me throughout the day, ensuring I had everything I needed (including making sure I stayed hydrated- Thank you!!). They even fixed up our cake up to be presentable especially for photos after it was delivered damaged. Their care and attention to detail made the day run smoothly and allowed us to focus on enjoying every moment.

We opted for the weekend package, and it was absolutely the right choice, especially being from out of town. It completely took the stress out of the wedding weekend, and we were able to relax and enjoy the experience without worry. Erica and Donna also helped us with the planning aspect and worked within our budget and gave great recommendations for vendors, which was very appreciated.

We truly can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was and how perfect the venue was. If you’re thinking about booking The Lambermont, do it - You won’t regret it. It’s a fabulous venue that will make your wedding day unforgettable.
