First time here, stopped in for lunch. Staff was super friendly and greeted us right away. Restaurant inside is pretty small so larger parties might have trouble finding a table. Restaurant is kind of cafeteria style, you order up front at the steam table and food is brought out to you. The place was busy so tables were either dirty or occupied. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and a carne guisada taco on the side. Enchiladas were good, about the same as any taqueria in San Antonio, beans were ok. The rice was slightly burnt and I could taste it with every bite, ended up just leaving it. The tacos are huge! The carne guisada only had 4 chucks of meat but they giant pieces. The meat was cold, really cold. I was wondering if it was refrigerated and didn’t properly re-heat, which was disappointing because the flavor was actually good but super cold. The tortillas were homemade, hot and delicious. Overall a disappointing first visit, I may try breakfast tacos next time if I decide to come back. Edit: Response to Owner. I finished my enchiladas, left the rice and most of the beans, you can even see the black burnt spots on the rice in my photo. The taco had 4 pieces of meat which was perfectly ok because they were huge and plenty enough for the taco as I stated in my review, I tried one piece of meat then took the photo. That’s why there is only 3 pieces in photo. AGAIN because of the size of the meat this was PLENTY. Didn’t change the fact that the meat was super cold, I did not send it back because y’all were busy and I was just over it. Sorry I didn’t particularly like the food at your restaurant and left a honest review. I leave reviews on MY personal experience, calling me a liar essentially is something I take offensive to and shows what kind of business this is. I stand by my 2 star review of your restaurant, even though this has now been a 1 star experience. Yes you’re are correct, they’re are plenty of other good restaurants that meet my expectations and you can look at my over 100 reviews to find them.

Had always seen the hot pink side of the building and wondered what was going on. Well today was the day. Greeted immediately as I opened the door by the staff behind the counter and kitchen. Menus on LED tvs along with pictures (always a plus)! Patient with us as first time visitors...they had plenty to take care of with their larger tables full of workers enjoying their lunch/breakfast and answering the phones for orders. Legit busy and hustling. Once we ordered we took our seats and were offered chips and house made salsa. Everything is pretty much made to order and I'll happily wait for my food when done so. Tortillas were house made and BIG! Papas were the right amount of crunch, the egg was still hot, the frijoles were flavorful. The chilaquiles...ohhh were crispy and ricisisisisisimo!!! So much food for one sitting. Will be enjoying the other half this afternoon. Most definitely will be going back.

So the flavor of the carne guisada was really good...the beans and rice were pretty good as well. Apparently you are served from a steam table...your food gets cold fast...the plates don't come out the oven...for the first visit not bad. Flour tortillas an 8 out of 10. Corn chip hard...and salsa not the best I've had elsewhere...but complimentary with inside plate orders. There is no table service...you order at the counter...and they bring it to your table. There was a steady flow around noon for to-go tacos.

Went here 3 weeks ago to grab brunch for me and my girlfriend ordered a torta, mini taco plate and enchiladas. The reason for a late review is that we just recovered from the food poisoning from this place, it was horrible both of us were so bad we were stuck on the toilet for 2-3 days, went to the hospital and my girlfriends evolved into worse than mine bacterial infection she needed antibiotics. While the food didn't have any bad spoiled ingredients, it clearly was poor handling of their food products here I was contacted back after contacting SA food & safety board they have received multiple reports and complaints of food ailment from this establishment. Please be careful and el molino do better for your customers! Love your restaurant but I can't stomach to come back, make sure employees are wearing gloves, washing hands and not showing to work sick, and follow food safety to prevent this from being a common thing at...

Freaking awesome , got to go tacos🌮the tripas , the man working there asked how did I want them I said crispy 👍🏼😎 and yessss sir happy happy we are, I just forget to ask for chopped onions and cilantro for the tripas that's a must but that was my fault. I got a barbacoa taco 🌮it was good, picadillo & papa heck yea good, got bean & cheese tacos for the kids, I loved the green salsa they have a orange one SPICY it is, OVER ALL the location is hard to see but as soon as you get in the parking area it's very nice looking, clean, inviting, inside the restaurant I love it , clean atmosphere, I felt welcome and safe, prices are reasonable especially the tripas that's a lot of work I know from experience, they were clean and cooked very well. Definitely returning, I even left a tip shoot been a while in my case since I came into a clean, welcoming restaurant environment, employees are polite and respectful...
