Management thinks if the room looks good it’s clean. Rooms were good but restroom tubs were filthy. First room given the tub had mud in it. Went to front desk and management apologized and said she been out of work for month. She gave me another room and told me it should be clean. went to go check it and the tub was filthy, I could rub my finger on it and collect dirt. I believe it’s the chemicals they use to clean, they probably use the cheapest restroom cleaner. There so many signs at front desk about policies, they have surveillance 24/7, and if you need a refund from website you must call to verify refund, & you must come to front desk within 10 minutes to get refund. What I was trying to explain front desk is I was making sure I could get a refund with website because if I couldn’t then I would need to stay there. Management said I shouldn’t have called website and she could of cleaned it for me. I asked to clean the first room, but why would I waste her time and mine when the room should be clean. She told website to refund me for the second night but not the first . She also stated I couldn’t stay there that night because I called website to get a refund and made her business look bad. First off we got the room for the pool and the pool was empty, they are remodeling the damages done, and it was simply filthy in the hallways and I can’t imagine the restrooms being clean. I never said anything disrespectfully until she said I can’t stay there and she would bring someone to escort me . I didn’t want to waste her time while I was on the phone with the website just for them to tell me no. She accused me of lying but they clearly will see me not be in those rooms for more than 10 minutes. Management clearly has no skills nor cleaning skills. I believe her and her husband run the place. Management was so bothered by the fact I called website to get a refund , she was starting to say “I was trying to work with you”. I even thanked her for that but I’m not going to stay in a hotel with a filthy tub when that’s were I bathe my toddler. Clearly if it’s good enough for them it should be good enough for me . I’m getting my full refund after they couldn’t get ahold of office. New Management here is way out of their heads.

Forgot to mention I had to pay $50 deposit . I’m sure I won’t get it back even tho the room was untouched and I returned key and control. But only...

From the minute I set for on this property is was a nightmare. After driving nearly all night to get there I walked in and told the man at check in that I had prepaid for 2 nights. His response was a dead eyes blank stare and then without checking any kind of system for our booking he asked me what address I had for the hotel I was looking for. No greeting, no hi how you doing just straight into him acting like I was in the wrong place. I told him that I was sure I was in the right place and he told me he didn't have me registered, so I went back to my car, pretty irate by this point. I got my phone walked into the lobby asked him what the address was for the hotel (because I had my phone to double check that I was at the right place) and he told me that he was fixing it. Obviously it was the right hotel because I called the number listed while I was standing there in the lobby and the phone rang. He was completely rude and had far too much attitude from the minute I walked in the door.

As for the room! Dirty sheets, and I don't just mean stained I mean there were sex stains on the sheets. There was mildew on the shower curtain, and it was slimy to the touch. The smoke alarm had been removed from the room. Half of the outlets didn't work so there was only one outlet to charge our phones or use the laptop. The lamp didn't work, turns out it was another bad outlet. I'm sure this place is a fire trap. I used to be a truck driver, and I've stayed in places all across the country, but this place is one of the worst. I paid 67 dollars a night, plus 15 dollars a night for my dog to stay there and I would have been better off staying at a motel 6 for 15 bucks less a night. I got stuck here a year ago and it is the trashiest place in San Antonio next to the motel down the street off of FM 1516. The continental breakfast is a joke. Sunny Delight and Walmart Donuts every morning is the only crap they've ever served the past year I've been here. Prostitutes are transported here regularly on weekends. The front office supplied one of these hookers with a key to my room after she called him pretending to be me giving him authorization to give her a key to my room. I would expect the staff to take extra measures to ensure the safety of a long time guest, especially one with a newborn baby. They did nothing to verify the identity of the caller which in fact was NOT me. They simply gave a complete stranger a key to my room so she could walk right in and rob me blind, which is exactly what she did. I became aware of the robbery the next morning after my debit card had been almost completely drained of $5000. I called the cops to make a report. The manager was completely unprofessional handling the situation. First he denied a robbery took place. When that was proven, he still took no responsibility and did not even offer an apology for the part the hotel played in the crime. He threatened to throw us out the next day if we didn't have the rent soon. I had no funds available while waiting on my replacement card. The least he could have done was offer to somehow make our stay more comfortable, give us a week or 2 rent free, or he could have been a little lenient on our due date. Especially considering their responsibility in the crime. Don't stay here if you don't want to get robbed or deal with rude staff who have no regards for your family's safety. This place is trash.
