I have stayed at an extended stay hotel off San Pedro Ave. The hotel offered no amenities except housekeeping once a week. Which I don’t mind as I request it once a week but it’s nice to know it’s daily when needed. This hotel comes with 1 set of towels that are yours as when you completed your purchase. I clean my own room and dispose my own trash wherever I go. This hotel had no 24 hour customer service. No pool. No coffee.|I was relieved when I checked out and moved to Studio Suites. I was a little skeptical because I know the area. But you know what always wins me over? It’s customer service! Dee, the hotel manager, is heartfelt, genuine, a man of his word, extremely helpful.|I have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years. Something’s are always instilled in us. I saw it with Dee every time we made contact. He practices the 10-step / 5-step rule. 10 feet is the acknowledgment with a smile, 5-step it’s a verbal greeting very genuine. He truly cares about every customer who walks through that door. He escorted me to a room that was under construction and informed me he would move me later. I was exhausted and I truly don’t complain. His sincerity won me over. I stayed in that room maybe a week. He was ready to upgrade me sooner but I was too busy working and came back exhausted. I stayed their over a month. I stayed there that long because:|1.) The owner always waived and said hello.|2.) Dee, the General Manager, has a genuine spirit, beautiful personality, his authenticity, demeanor, charm, the list goes on….he made me feel so welcomed along with the entire staff. I will be back.|3.) If you have mail come in after you leave, they will protect it.|4.) I received my $20 deposit back within less than 5 business days.|These guys are great! I truly loved my stay and will return again! Thank you so...
Read moreMy best friend and I booked a 1 night stay for Tuesday (1/16/2024) since we would be flying out in the morning. ||We checked in at 10pm and on hotels.com it shows the office as very welcoming, but in reality its completely empty with a few boxes. The lady was nice enough. Our room as at the end of the hotel where there was a broker barrier and a shipping container infront of it so we barely had room to park. Once we got inside we noticed straight away that the sheets were dirty, and the toilet wouldn't stop flushing and on top of all that, that night Texas was under a hard freeze warning and the heater was on it's last legging struggling to stay on. All this was in the first 10-15 minutes of being there so we put our stuff back in the car and immediately went to go check out. I spoke to the young lady who was at the front desk and she seemed more concerned with the sheets than with anything else. We ended up staying at the motel 6 across the airport.||When I reached out to Hotels.com to explain what happened, they reached out to the property and the manager (male) told them that i was straight up lying, that he doesn't remember me checking out and that he did not have a log of my check in/out. I then informed Hotels.com that there was no male in the office who checked me in, it was a female and i also said that they were obviously lying if they said they didn't have record of my being there but they charged my card.||Long story short the hotel refused to compensate/refund me for that night and hotels.com couldn't do anything since the hotel flat out refused.||So if you're thinking of going here to try to save some money, don't, it's not worth it, the motel 6 that a few miles up is about $10-20 more but you'll get a working bathroom, heater and a sense of safety. Something you don't get...

DANGEROUS!!!!
HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY ARE RATED SO HIGH.
I didn't even get to room. I was told West San Antonio is dangerous part of town, gave them a chance, sketch doesn't bother, but had car filled with stuff (moving to San Antonio).. any hotel with glass protecting front desk staff is concerning.
Outside looked sketchy, a mother there told me dangerous things happen there all I wanted was a week-long room we're I could see my car (because i didnt think it was safe).
Room given couldn't see any cars, let alone mine. I asked a room swap (they had lesser rooms available), they wouldn't do it. They offered refund, I accepted.
Price $345, I gave 4 $100 bills. Was given $55 back, correct math!!! With refund i gave 55 back and asked for my $400 back. Instead i was given $399 back. I shouldve just accepted and left, but wanted the full refund I was promised.
It turned into a 10+ minute ordeal of them saying math was right, and me trying to explain 1st grade math to get my 4th hundred back. It was just $1, why eould they not just give me my hundred back??? We were frustrated with each other because she believed her math was right, and i knew it wasn't. Now, this hotel has my name and copy of ID, and i do not trust them to not do something with it.
If you read this, please shred my information, and don't sell it to someone.
Sketchiest hotel ive ever been to.
