Solid Punjabi Food in an Area That Needs It
Being in the area often for work, I’ve come to realize there aren’t many great food options nearby—unless you’re in the mood for fast food or Mexican. So when I stumbled upon INDIAN KITCHEN (PUNJABI STYLE), a small food truck, I figured I’d give it a shot for lunch one day.
The truck had a welcoming vibe and friendly service. I ordered the Chicken Korma with medium spice. The chef let me know it would take about 15–20 minutes, which I appreciated—it meant the food was made fresh. Everything was packaged nicely for takeout, with sealed containers that kept spills away.
When I finally sat down to eat, I was impressed. The food was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The spice level was spot on—enough of a kick to keep it interesting, but not overwhelming.
I will say, the price caught me a little off guard. I ordered the small portion, with a side of roti and a drink, and with tip it came out to around $30. That felt a bit steep for lunch from a truck.
Still, overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Flavorful food, solid heat, and a nice break from the usual...
Read moreThe food was cooked fresh by friendly people. I gave it low stars because Ketchup is nasty and not an ingredient in chili chicken. At any other Indian restaurants I have enjoyed. Also, it resembled Chinese sweet and sour chicken. The chicken rice features frozen mixed vegetables, commonly found in cheap Chinese. It had plenty of black pepper and very few other spices. This dish also had enough bones in it to attempt a chicken autopsy. The chicken korma purchased also had too many bones, a large piece of liver, and almost no flavor. The Butter Chicken was actually ok, just not spiced medium. Tea that i couldn't tell was Chai, no seasoning.
So, in sum, for spending 97 bucks, I received a severe allergy attack from the frozen vegetables, 3 meals thrown away, and 1 adequate meal.
As for me and mine, we're not returning. If you choose to try it, go with the...
Read moreI accidentally discovered the India Kitchen Food Truck, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Finding authentic, flavorful Indian food right next to my work is an absolute delight.
The moment I walked up, I was greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of fresh spices—a sure sign that I was in for something special. The food was incredibly fresh, perfectly spiced, and bursting with authentic flavors. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the samosas were perfectly crispy, and the naan was warm and pillowy—just the way it should be!
Beyond the amazing food, the service was fast and friendly, making it a perfect lunch stop. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality.
If you're looking for top-notch Indian cuisine on the go, this food truck is a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back often!
