KEEP LOOKING! Never stay here. I would had rather paid an extra 40 dollars and stayed on Lombard Street. There’s a reason they show have only 2 pictures pertaining to the room on their website, don’t be fooled by bright paintjob and a fancy sink. Bathroom shower stall, so tiny that you can hardly move around it without bumping your elbows (and I’m a petite person), had hair inside stall, and black mold on the shower door, plus bad water pressure. The towel rack was rusty and dirty the towels looked like old worn out rags, and smelled sour, the warped funhouse bathroom mirrors looked like they’ve never been cleaned. Dirty finger prints on hair dryer. No counter space. Also, there were what looked like human feces stains around the toilet paper roll, and pubic hair on the floor. The toilet seat was old gross, cracked and stained. The room itself was tiny, with just a bed, a dresser with a TV, a chair, the refrigerator and the microwave that you wouldn’t want to touch, curtained off closet, with and iron board and an iron, and no table, dirty walls all over, semen laden curtains. The bed had not been changed, and had more hair on it. Kleenex box had blood and snot on it. Heater didn’t work, ice machine didn’t work. Their amazing continental breakfast consisted of a package of Sara Lee bagels and a toaster in a corner of a tight office hallway space, and peeled hard boiled eggs with nail marks on them! There wasn’t enough of this “goodness” for all the guests. The attendants acted like it’s a privilege to stay there. It was too late for a refund and we were stuck there. Please never stay in this disgusting hole! 20-40 dollars cheaper is not worth it. I wish I could give this rating,...
Read moreThe rooms are cute and spacious. I love the fact that there are separate rooms within the room itself. As expected, the rooms are old and some of the furniture looks like it's breaking apart. I always look for bedbugs and didn't find any, but the mattresss looked very old and dirty. The sheets were clean, and I'm not sure if it was the detergent or the washer, but they had a musty old smell mixed with detergent. The room did smell a bit as if someone had smoked in it previously and the minute I walked in, I could smell the cleaning products they used...very strong. It was strange because there was no one in the front desk and there was a Virtual staff member always available. I'm glad it had a microwave and refrigerator, but my microwave wasn't working at all. When I tried to call the operator through the room phone, it seemed to cut off. Suddenly, the wire from the phone just disconnected and the call dropped, when I tried to call again, the staff member yelled at me asking me why I kept calling and hanging up without saying anything. I told her that if they had kept up with their facilities, then the phone would work properly and there would be no issues of the call dropping or phone signal. Anyways, she said she was busy and would call me back about the microwave...she never did. I gave up and just ordered doordash. It is a quiet area and I like that each room has their own parking space right in front of the room. I would only recommend it if you have an event at the Cow Palace and don't want to worry about driving back home. Otherwise, don't...the area is not very pretty, nor does it seem to...
Read moreJust a place to get by. Area was safe. Nothing to do in the area at all. Happy it was some food near by MickyDs KFC Taco Bell Subway Dominos. Price point was good Av about 115 120ish a night. It took 5 minutes for hot water in the bathroom sink to get hot but 10 sec for the shower which was weird. Wood floors made alot of noise when you moved around the room. Can't go to the bathroom at night bc you might wake your sleeping mate, yes smh. Some rooms might be better than others
Bathroom was always cold. Made you not want to use it at all. Pure ice box. Had a Washer and dryer on site. Dryer works like they just got it from Home D but it looks 30 years old. Got my clothes bone dry in 20m but it gives you 60m for a dollar. Washer was great too for a 1.25. Staff very nice. Pillows are THE WORST IN AMERICA. I've stayed at my share of inn and hotels motels. Their pillows are by far the worst ever known to man. Heater/ AC Is too loud. can't get a good night's rest. And hopefully it doesn't rain. If it does rain hopefully it's not at night & All night. The rain drops fall on top of the Heater/AC on the outside. it causes a tapping noise.
The coffee or hot chocolate in the morning is the only thing good you'll get in the morning. Do not stay in the front of this inn. The front is where the office is. Loud running cars, cars with Loud music, cars door shutting, almost all night people are pulling up to check in.
This place is ok for 2 nights. You're pushing it with a 3 night stay. I was thinking about giving this place a 2 but it's Not that terrible. 3 fits...
