First of all, I would like to say to NEVER go to this hotel; From the first impression the view from the outside of the hotel is very acceptable but the inside of the hotel is HORRIBLE. The first thing that I dislike about this hotel is that the employee was very distracted and took like 10 minutes for him to help me (when no one was there beside me) The employee told me that there was a room avalible, He said that the room was $60.00 dollars. Well I paid for the room and he give me the key, he also told me that he was going to give me a non smoking room, The room was horrible, The room SMELLED, the furniture was really old and dirty ! The carpet was old and had a dry blood, the bathroom was unorganized and the toilet was was very dirty after seeing all this I went back and told the employee about what was going on and I asked him to go check the room because it was just UNBELIEVABLE " He said he couldnt go, he told me that he was going to give me another room. I wasnt very happy about this but I told him ok!!!!! He give me another room and for my surprise the room was the same or worst. I decided to leave but before this I took pictures to prive that I wasnt over reacting. I went back to the employee and told he that the room was the same and if could give me my money back because of the poor conditions of the rooms. I mean I wasnt expecting a SUIT but come on this was a trash place. He over react and told me No in a very unfriendly way. He started insulting me. I told him not to scream at me and to give me my money back. he didnt wanted to listen to me. HE WAS VERY RUDE!!!!! I asked to talk to a manager and he said that he was the owner, which I know is not true these hotels are associated with more than one person. I decided to leave beacuse he wasnt going to help me, I decided to leave and rented another rooom next to this hotel (which I end up payind double) !!!!!! The other hotel offered me a better service and the rooms were very clean from carpert to restroom. PLEASE IF YOU ARE PLANNING IN STAYING THIS SANTA FE SPRING .. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY $60.00 FOR NOTHING .... P.S CAN SOMEONE SHOW THE EMPLOYEES HOW TO HANDLE THESE CAN OF SITUATIONS BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING. BED BUGS, DO NOT STAY HERE!

We checked in one January 21st 2020 in room 110 at the Budget Inn Santa Fe Springs. After a shower I laid in bed and an hour later saw something moving on my pillow. When I got up and turned on the lights I saw 10+ bed bugs scurrying all around me on the sheets in all stages of their life cycle from first stage nymph (tiny bright red) to large adults. I immediately ran into the shower, threw away my clothing and called the office for a refund. The (Indian?) gentlemen working there offered to switch the room and I told them if they have bed bugs in this room then they likely have them in other rooms as the laundry is done together and I just wanted a refund. They then requested to come up to the room to look at them as they said there are no bed bugs in their rooms. After they came in they saw a bed bug in the corner of the bed and one of them flicked it off then the other said "you told us there are many bed bugs but we can't find one" after which I proceeded to tell them the bed bugs hide in light and showed them the videos I took which one of them admitted being their room and the other said he wasn't sure the background of one of the pictures up close was their room (why lie?!? You can clearly see in the video!)

Regardless, they told me to contact the third party website who I booked through, which I did and am still waiting for a refund.

The next morning I saw all of the bites all over my legs, lower back, and a couple on my arms.

In the end I still haven't received my refund, my clothing was tossed, I'm still worried about a possible contamination in my home, and I have itchy bites all over me.
