Cookie Good — Local services in Santa Monica

Hands down the best cookies I've ever had outside of my own kitchen! Highly recommended, please visit Cookie Good if you like cookies, even just a little bit.

My partner and I stopped by during a roadtrip and got a half dozen cookies for the drive to Phoenix - well we took a few bites as we were driving away and had to turn around and go back to Cookie Good for more. We tried almost every cookie flavor available that day - our favorites were the apple pie, s'mores, peanut butter, and rice krispy treats, runners up included blueberry pancake, apple jacks, strawberry pop tart, and cheetos - they were all delicious and perfectly textured, slightly crisp on the outer edge while tender and decadent in the middle. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and we got to meet co-founder Ross and gush about how amazing his cookies were. He was really warm and humble and gave us samples of both their churro and oreo+butterfinger cookie corn, which omg were of course the best examples of caramel corn we've ever had - think fresh caramel corn rolled in delicious cookie crumbs - so we bought 3 more flavors (key lime pie, creamsicle, and peanut butter salted pretzel).

The cookies are now long gone and we're trying to ration out the rest of our cookie corn, but I'm not sure we'll last the week - lucky for us Cookie Good ships...

The reason for the one star is that the woman serving me picked up the first cookie with her bare hands. She noticed this mistake and proceeded to use paper to pick up the rest of my order. She did not replace the first unhygenically picked cookie even though she knew about it, neither apologized as she should have done. I was too shocked and embarrassed to say anything at the time. Obviously I will be throwing away that cookie and 2+ dollars of my money, but I would rather do that than eat whatever was on her hands and the cookie. At least I won't be getting fatter. Update: I've decided to throw all but one cookie away, as they were knocking against each other in the bag. Cookie Good a bad experience for me, like I said at least I won't be getting fatter on it. Update 2: hadn't got around to throwing out cookies. Looking so tasty, decided to eat them and not care about the shocking lack of hygiene displayed, just hope you have clean hands Mrs Cookie Good. Our first visit to cookie good and it definitely would not be the last. This place has good customer service, currently complying with covid-19 safety protocol such as social distancing and not crowding the inside of the store. The cookies are amazing and delicious. The only downside is I wish that the red velvet which is one of my favorite flavors has more of the red velvet in the cookie. The pie cookie was one of the most interesting cookies and complex. It was delicious, moist and very flavorful. And the winner was the Cheetos cookie. This is a strange concept to even talk about but it is one of the best executed cookies of all time. It was a sweet cookie like a sugar cookie and the cheetos dust was not overpowering and despite the cheese flavor it extremely complemented the sugar cookie on all levels.
