Star Motel — Hotel in Seattle

I HAD BEEN MOVING AND I DECIDED TO FIND A MOTEL AND I HAPPENED TO STUMBLE ON STAR MOTEL IN SEATTLE. I GOT A NON SMOKING ROOM AND I WAS SHOCKED AND IMPRESSED HOW CLEAN AND LOVELY THE ROOM WAS. THEN IN THE MORNING MY CAT, SASSY, DECIDED SHE WAS SCARED AND HID . NO PLACE IN THAT WHOLE ROOM TO GO BUT BEHIND THE HEAD BOARD OF THE BED. SHE DIDNT MAKE A NOISE NOTHING. SO I WAS REALLY PANICKING BECAUSE I FOUND HER AND SHE HAD BEEN ABUSED REALLY BAD. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE AND I ASKED THE OWNER'S IF THEY SAW HER TO CALL ME. SURPRISE THEY CALLED AND I HURRIED UP TO GET BACK THERE BUT I WAS IN MARNIER BASEBALL TRAFFIC. FORGOT ABOUT HOW THAT IS. FINALLY GOT THERE AND THE WOMAN AND HER DAUGHTER SAID THERE SHE IS. POINTING THROUGH THE FRONT WINDOW. I WAS LOOKING AND COULDN'T SEE HER. WENT IN SIDE AND SASSY WAS HIDING UNDERNEATH THE BEDSPREAD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BED. SCARED TO DEATH. This was one of the nastiest motels I have ever stayed in. First of all, the painted white brick walls made me feel like I was in a jail cell. Second, there was one thin blanket and no sheet and the blanket had holes burned into it and this was a non-smoking room! Third, there was what looked like a blood stain on the toilet seat. Fourth, there was no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion provided and the shower was tiny and had nowhere to put soap or shampoo anyway. Lastly, the sink was very low and had no counter space to put anything.

After one night here, I went online and booked a Motel 6, which I should have done to begin with. The Motel 6 cost less per night. This place was such a dump, it made the Motel 6 look like a nice hotel! I don't know what made them think the conditions are acceptable. The Motel 6 was further away from the city, but it was worth it to drive a little bit to stay at someplace nicer...

I came with my toddler and a friend, she charged 80 dollars, and wanted a 10 dollar cash "key deposit" which we didn't have, so I elected to keep my ID behind the counter. When asked about the vape policy, because my friend vapes, she became confused and then immediately insisted that if the room smelled like smoke that she would throw away my ID, (this is two days before I leave via amtrak which requires id) My hard of hearing son is louder than some children, and hadn't fallen asleep by this point, and was babbling away in the background when she also said to me that he cannot be that loud (really wasn't that loud) and she will kick us out no refund if he is loud.
