Unique Art Glass — Attraction in Seattle

My husband and I recently remodeled the kitchen in our 1930 brick Tudor home in South Seattle. We had one window that faced the brick wall of our neighbor's home and we wanted a custom stained glass window that would obscure the brick wall from our view but let in light and be a beautiful, signature piece in our kitchen. Working with Zack and Jules at Unique Art Glass was an exceptional experience throughout the entire process.

At the start of the process, before we started the remodel, they visited our home and we talked through colors and potential elements for the design. They then crafted design options for us to review and pick between. The designs thoughtfully incorporated elements that mattered to us, including blue and white as a color theme (as we live near the lake and wanted something a bit reminiscent of water).

The window is absolutely gorgeous. It lets in light beautifully and fully obscures the neighbor's house (just a few feet away), just as we'd hoped. It's really a stunning piece. Everyone who visits our home marvels at how beautiful it is. The quality of the light it lets in -- whether morning, afternoon or early evening -- whether a gray day or sunny -- is beautiful and changes throughout the day. At night, when we have our kitchen lights on, it reflects the glass pendant lights we have and creates a sense of warmth in the space.

Zack and Jules created custom art glass for us to replace old and broken leaded glass in our front door. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish, guiding us through the design process, creating different designs to choose from, having zoom calls to look at different styles of glass (during COVID) and delivering the final product.
