Please read and consider this before signing up for Armoire.

The service from this company has been a snowball of terrible experiences from the beginning. I kept on giving them the benefit of the doubt because a persons actions shouldn’t reflect the entire company. But after it happened time and time again with different employees, other upsetting experiences, And then how they have handled the pandemic, I can’t continue to bite my tongue.

I’ve been a member for probably over a year now (not 100% with exact time lines), and I live in WA so I have had first hand experiences with drop off sites and employee interactions at the HQ and other locations. The first day I signed up I booked a fitting appointment. When I showed up they could have cared less. I got a hello and that was it. It wasn’t until I took it upon myself to start pulling clothes, did they realize I was their appointment and apologized until I left. But this could have been just a mistake. Well, maybe not.

I frequented the Kirkland location and each time I arrived to swap clothes I was greeted, but the services ended there. I was even laughed at when I tried to exit through the locked door, because apparently they would rather just have half of the double doors unlocked, rather than just unlocking the double doors. Several times they had forgotten I was even in the fitting rooms. They would talk poorly of customers who had stopped by earlier, belittle brands they carried (which some I was trying on at the time) and throw F bombs around as they talked about how terrible their day was going. It wasn’t until I came out of the fitting room I was met with apologies, and a “I completely forgot you were in here”. Honestly I should have learned their names, but I didn’t care enough to actually ask after this.

Again, this happened SEVERAL TIMES. They even treated my best friend poorly after I brought her one day to show her the clothes just in case she wanted to sign up. My friend never went back with me again.

It wasn’t until my husband purchased a Gucci purse for me for my birthday, that they started paying attention to me. All the sudden they were more than happy to help.

Once the pandemic hit, my husband and I actually finished up our move, after buying our first home. Since they were closing down all their locations besides the HQ I figured I should cancel and reopen my account later. Well, I won’t be doing that anymore.

Dropping off my clothes to officially close my account was impossible. It started to feel like a scam after multiple tries. They were never working the hours they claimed. When we called it said that nobody was working because of Covid 19. It went straight to the prerecorded message. But we still kept on trying to drop off the clothes. We emailed them, and never got it resolved. It wasn’t until I got an email that they were now going to charge me for the clothing I still had because “since I still had them, they figured I wanted to keep them”. Yeah, no. Finally we called again still getting the prerecorded message, but magically we got a call back this time. Apparently they’ve been “working” but we had to ring a bell for services. We have never seen a bell. My husband feels horrible because he usually was the one that could drive to Seattle to drop off the clothes. I am sure when we go back to drop off the clothes that there will now be a ‘bell’ and people will actually be working, eager to assist us, since they know to expect us. But where have they been until now?

I can’t help but wonder why they have such a good rating. It’s a shame because I think it’s a great idea. But the business is a business and who you hire reflects on the business. I just wonder if people enjoy them so much because these people are out of state and don’t actually have to witness...

Armoire has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself and my business!

As a professional color analyst, I know the power of wearing the right colors. I exclusively shop in my Warm Autumn palette, and Armoire makes it so easy by offering stylish, high-quality pieces in rich, warm hues that truly flatter me. Instead of hunting for the perfect shades in stores, I get curated options delivered right to my door—saving me time, effort, and frustration.

What I love most about Armoire is the variety and flexibility. As a busy mom and business owner, I don’t have hours to shop, but I still want to feel trendy, polished, and put-together. With Armoire, I can experiment with new styles without commitment, whether I need a chic outfit for a client meeting, a casual but stylish look for the weekend, or something fun for a night out. Every month feels like a fresh closet refresh without the clutter!

And the convenience? Unmatched! Free FedEx pickup right from my front door means no trips to the post office—just pack up what I’m done with, schedule a pickup, and wait for my next round of amazing pieces. It’s a stress-free, sustainable way to keep my wardrobe feeling fresh and exciting.

If you’re looking for a way to elevate your style, shop smarter, and stay effortlessly fashionable, I highly recommend Armoire clothing rental. It’s been a game-changer for me, and I love knowing I’m always dressed in shades that enhance my...

Such a great experience! Outstanding service and great selection of clothes. If you’ve thought about renting clothes, come to Armoir, especially if you can go in person to the warehouse in Seattle. I’ve tried a couple other rental companies but this experience is by far the best. So happy I decided to give this a go. I needed clothes for a special event and made an appointment for a prospective client session. My stylist Valeria was wonderful! She had a selection of clothes waiting for me to try. SO fun trying on all the pieces! I appreciated Valeria’s fashion expertise- was fun to try some pieces out of my comfort zone, too. I am impressed with the diversity of clothing available in the warehouse as she was able to find several pieces that fit and flatter my petite frame. Very happy with my selection! I started a membership and was able to take home several pieces perfect for my event. The clothes are also available for purchase if you find something you love (which might happen!). I love that you can go to the warehouse to try on pieces you are considering to rent. AND FedEx will pick it up at your front door when you’re ready to turn them in. Need pieces for a special event like I did? Go here! Want to change up your wardrobe? Go here! Thank you, Valeria, for the fun session! I look forward to when I come back for a swap. ...

Since starting my Armoire membership 2 years ago, my life has been upgraded in so many ways: 1. Confidence boost - I used to dread getting dressed, but now I have so much fun with my outfits. Armoire gives me a constantly evolving wardrobe of trendy pieces for every occasion in my life (weddings, work, dinner with friends, etc.). 2. Sustainable fashion - rather than buying clothes that I'll only wear once, I can rent these types of items, knowing they'll be enjoyed by others. It's a great way to try new styles and infuse joy into my life without the guilt of overconsumption. 3. Easy and convenient - delivery/drop-off is way easier than I thought it would be. I despise errands, but Armoire has gone out of their way to getting and returning clothes so convenient, even I cannot complain. 4. More closet space - renting clothes means I can own less and use my precious closet space for other necessities (like hiding my ridiculously bulky air mattress that literally won’t fit anywhere else). 5. No more laundry angst - I love nice things and hate worrying about how to take care of them properly. With Armoire, I get to rent those super nice pieces (like cashmere) and let them handle the cleaning.
