Disclaimer: I did get a smoking room. Let me first say that the employees here are outstanding! Friendly and efficient. Now, let's talk about the place itself: First and foremost, be EXTREMELY careful when entering the driveway up the little hill to the hotel! Where the grate goes across the drive, there is a DEEP rut (you can see all of the previous scrapes and chunks out of the pavement!) and one must drive less than 5mph or hit one's head off the ceiling of one's vehicle! The check-in process, for me, was quick and efficient, I got my WiFi code, etc., without having to ask. The carpet in that area is pretty stained and worn thin. The breakfast room is very nicely decorated and taken care of. There are freshly-made waffles, fruit and yogurt, and coffee for breakfast (but only powdered creamer and no coffee cup lids) Walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor and down the hall to my room, I was pretty surprised at the condition of the carpet, considering this is a "Wyndham" hotel! However, when I actually got INTO my room, I was shocked at the bedspreads with multiple cigarette burns, as well as the multitude of cigarette burns in the carpet between and around the beds!! I looked around and just shook my head at the condition of the rest of the room. The drape was hanging off of the rod I was afraid to touch it lest it fall and it was awkwardly bunched around the HVAC unit, leaving the drape very hot to the touch (fire hazard?). The smoke detector was turned to the "OFF" position... The table, tv stand/dresser, and the nightstand were painted with nasty, cheap black paint that made them all grossly sticky. There were patches in the wall and messily painted fixtures. But then I went into the restroom! Only 1 of 3 lightbulbs was working, the light fixtures were covered with long drips of cigarette tar, and the ceiling vent had tar and filth all over it. I got a washcloth to try to fix the stickiness of the table, but -- in spite of the amount of built-up filth and black paint residue that I removed -- the stickiness remained. The bed itself was pretty comfortable (and I have a fused spine, so not many mattresses work for me), but I got "rug burn" from the coarseness of the sheets. The pillows were not too bad, just small and the cases were tucked strangely around them. Since I had to stay several days, I went to the dollar store and bought a scented candle, to help alleviate the stale cigarette smell of the room. (See pictures for more details.)

By far the worst motel I have ever seen. I was traveling back to my Hometown to visit my dad in the hospital.. I had traveled for nearly 11 hours by car. This trip was a very emotional trip because my father is in poor condition and may not make it. At the last second I decided to take a hotel room rather than interrupt my tired mother who had been at the hospital all day. I called the 800 number and was able to make a reservation. I'm very familiar with this motel because I've stayed in it in the past. When I arrived at the motel,The front desk clerk said to me "didn't you see the cone?". Apparently she had just mopped the floor and I came into the lobby through the obvious entrance but it was not where I was supposed to enter. She did not greet me by saying hello or how can I help you...that is how she greeted me. Apparently I was supposed to enter the keyed guest entrance which I later discovered is unlocked at all times so anyone has access to the interior entrances of the rooms. The guest entrance which is not locked in any way except by slide locks one is held by packaging tape. The clerk later apologized for her remarks and I went to my room.. When I opened the room door I was horrified. The room was 78゚ so I went to the air conditioner to check the temperature to find it seriously damaged and held into place by packaging tape. At that point I should have left but it was very late and I need sleep before I go see my father in the morning. The pictures can tell you the rest of the story. To say I'm disappointed in my stay would be the understatement of the century. I will be contacting the corporate headquarters about the conditions I saw.

Upon arrival front desk agent wasn't very caring about our situation. We had to check in early at 5 am instead of 2pm we had to pay an additional $80. No elevators and our room was an old smoking room that wasn't properly cleaned. Sheets and covers had cigarette holes. Even the sink in the bathroom wasn't replaced when it broke. See photos explains everything. Do not stay here. Unless you are desperate like we were.

Its a shady hotel in a middle of nowhere place.....you get what you pay for. Walking distance to a stores However, dont be cheap and just pay the 20$ difference to stay across the street. Pros: The staff screwed up my reservations but did fix their error without any issues or attitude. Ample amount of space, not the best but it makes do. CONS: if you enjoy waking up periodically through the night feeling like you're soaking up the sun with the devil, this is the place for you! Youll feel like you booked the ritz in miami. The heat works.....so well that it doesn't shut off..... even when thermostat is off......again, i got what i paid for. Beds......easily -100 out of 10. Worst hotel beds I've ever laid on. Every one of us is awoke with some injury, back pain, shoulder pain.......emotional trauma lmao Also, many complained on price line reviews about the smoke smell. STAY AWAY if smoke irritates you. It's loaded with smokers , the hallways smell like you're working for the Marlboro factory. Will be venturing to breakfast shortly, I dont have much hopes but I do secretly hope it's prepackaged items. Overall, its a place good for a quick stop but its also what you expect for a 50$ hotel. I dont recommend staying here, if you can avoid it find elsewhere. Due to the heat and overwhelming smoke stench(if you're not a smoker, its not for you! PLEASE NOTE THAT WARNING!!! Im not a smoker, it smells like an ashtray at your grammas house from 1982......I learned my lesson real quick, spend the extra money for a...
