I work for a company that requires I get a receipt in order to be re-embursed for my stay. I got a run around. They would not give me a receipt at check out, but told me I booked on line and had to call the number on my confirmation email. When I called the number it was the hotels number. When I again asked for them to email a copy of my receipt I was told I had to come back to the hotel and bring a photo ID. When I informed them it was a four hour drive for me and that I was refused a receipt at check out and again reqested they email me a copy, the person said they had to check with the manager and would get back to me. This never happened. I finally had to contact the corporate office and file a complaint in order to get my receipt. My coworker experienced the same treatment. When I checked in on Monday I informed them I instead needed to check out on Thursday. I was informed I would be charged for the extra night anyway, that I could not change the reservations, causing me to have to stay the extra night. If you need a receipt for money re-embursement or have a job that requires a possible change, be prepared for a run around. The beds also were hard, pillows flat from wear and had to jiggle the lights to get them to come on. Shower heads were not good either. Will never stay here again. Do not...
Read moreWhere do I begin. First off, the host was very rude and overcharged on our room. Next, the key she gave us didn't work. Had to change room to get another key. The room was a disaster. The fridge barely worked. The electrical receptacle had a 4 inch by 2 inch open hole in the sheet rock. If a kid stuck his finger in the hole, he would be electrocuted. Caulking around the tub and toilet was about 2 inches wide and was just smeared on. The remote didn't work. The guy next to our room started his diesel truck up with a defective exhaust pointed right at our air conditioning intake. Luckily we had an alarm set, as we were almost asphyxiated and had to leave the room immediately to let it air out. Then came the so called continental breakfast at 7am. Only enough coffee left for 1 cup. No more creamer. No syrup for pancakes. No milk for cereal. And no one on site to help us. And the room was a mess. Construction material all over. Never been so glad to vacate a motel as this one. Absolutely the WORST motel experience I've ever encountered and I'm in my seventies. If I could give a minus star I would. Also, she quoted me $78 on the phone, but when we arrived, it was up to $98. Lastly, there were people hanging outside our room until midnight talking and hanging out...and the security bolt was missing on the door!...
Read moreHad to come back to Sheridan for family reasons and got a great rate to stay at this hotel and was excited to be able to swim in a pool too!
While the rooms were nicely updated, clean and the beds extremely comfortable, the pool resembles a cesspool of sewage more closely than a swimming pool. Such a shame too. That's the only reason I took off one star.
If you show a beautifully clean pool on your website, for Pete's sake HAVE ONE! Else you need to drain it and fill it.
Came back to stay again on 8/30 until 9/3. Have to say I’m delighted with the managerial staff who immediately replaced the mini fridge with a brand new one so that the food we brought with us wouldn’t go bad.
The woman who was running the front was as pleasant and knowledgeable as anyone I’ve ever met and the main draw for us if we should ever come back to stay here.
Prices so reasonable and wonderful staffing are the biggest draw. Clean, pleasant and restful rooms, quality linens and very comfortable beds....
