Yellowjacket Drive-In — Restaurant in Sheridan

Stopped here Saturday 1/25/20 went to the window ask for a menu so that we could do what to get for the two kids . We figured out our order my daughter went up to the window to order, she could see 4 ppl in side and we could see 6 cars others than our sitting in the parking lot and 3 of which just got their food . My daughter stood at the window for 10 min and was never even acknowledge. We both understand the restraunt business as we both work in the industry, but waiting 10 min with out even saying hi or we will. E with as soon as possible, some kind of acknowledgement would have been nice. So she then comes back to the car and we try to call in the order. Now we are parked where u could see inside one of the 4 ppl inside picked up the phone hand hung it back up . So we li eft and will not be back we were stopping there to eat every two weeks when we go to visit family , but not any more and we are telling all our family and friends about how we...

We called in our order because I had eaten their footling dog before,but when we got there the other customers were very unsociable and rude and parked weird so that you could hardly get in the parking lot,also I don't understand why they can't afford to put trash cans in the parking area because the interior of the building is dirty enough you don't need to carry your trash to the window. When I went to the window to check on my order there were two young children around 6 or 7 years old back in the cooking area with the adults seems a bit dangerous to me and unsanitary. I stood there for a little longer than I should have until the lady who was standing there talking to the cook and children finally came and checked what I needed and got my food,the food was good service was bad and disrespectful and I will not come back again for even a coke. My husband and I eat here for the first time on 2/1. I have no clue why we have waited so long. We got the double hubcap burger and cheese burger with large fries and large drinks. I’m going to add a photo of the burger but the picture doesn’t do the size justice. These burgers were huge! They were also absolutely delicious. It’s the good old fashioned burger that you just can’t find anymore. We have talked about it all day and if we had known they were open on Sunday we would’ve gotten another burger today. The two ladies that took our order were so nice and they seemed to really enjoy themselves. This is not fast food so there was a slight wait time but the food was definitely worth it.
