J & M FURNITURE STORE — Hotel in Shreveport

I purchased a Bed and Mattress from there yesterday and though the guy I guess that owns it or runs it was quite friendly and the blonde that works there was quite pushy. They delivered my item quickly but one of the packages containing some of the drawers were of the wrong color and the mattress was ripped about 12 inches at the seam. They have yet to bring me the replacements. But on top of that. I had an emergancy situation this morning as to my transmission went out on my truck and left me stranded ( I know this isn't their problem) but I needed the money money to fix my truck and called them and asked if I could get a refund , that the items were still sitting right where they dropped them off yesterday (untouched,still in original packaging) and the pushy blonde told me No we don't do refunds! Even though I just purchased yesterday and everything is untouched! Still No! So I will No Longer Do Bussiness with them ever again. I recently purchased a used dryer about 2 weeks ago and at the time I asked the guy Jessie if it stopped working could I return it or get my money back and he replied yes while me and my son where both standing there. We'll guess what the dryer quit working and I went into the store 12/18/17 and Jessie told me that it wasn't anything he could do because I had no warranty and it probably was a fuse and I needed to find someone to look at it, he stated in a sarcastic manner that I only paid $90 for it as it that's not a lot of money plus a $25 deliver fee. This guy was rude and so unprofessional and I will never purchase anything from JM furniture ever again wether its new or used and I'll make sure all my family, friends or anyone I come in contact with spends their money else where. This place is full of extravagant, not going to find anywhere else, stylish furniture. The prices are high but I imagine alot of that furniture wouldn't even look right unless you lived in a castle, palace, or multimillion dollar penthouse. A lot of their furniture is super decorative and fancy, from King like thrones to giant peacock grandfather clocks and fur couches.. they do have some regular people furniture also though, and if you talk to the right person at the right time you can get an amazinngggg price! We bought an amazing king sized bed with a cushioned headboard, with a cupholder, 2 charging ports, a bt speaker and led lights for less than 1000$!!!!! It was a steal!!!!! One of my best finds...
