Run down! We are staying in a two queen suite with pullout couch. There is visible damage to the ceilings and doors. There is staining on the carpets, desk chair and bedspread in spots. The room has a pullout couch, but no bedding was provided for it. Two hypoallergenic pillows we were provided were unwrapped and looked used/ not very clean. The bathroom door was broken in a way that made it difficult to close, with no functioning latch, and caused a lack of privacy. The bathroom itself did not feel well-cleaned. The shower door drifted open, once closed. The room had a dirty, seedy feel to it even when we first came in. We left for a few hours and return to find a heavy mildew/pet/carpet shampoo odor that would not improve unless we ran the air conditioning constantly, resulting in a need to bundle up to go to bed. The downstairs common areas reflected the same type of visible damage and felt lack of cleanliness. The staff was helpful, but neither enthusiastic nor overly interested. Breakfast was passable, but lackluster, even when compared to other hotel breakfasts of this kind. A sign posted in the elevator stated that access to all rooms would be required at various points during the week for some type of install/project on pain of eviction from the premises. No advanced notice had been provided of that requirement at the time of booking or after. The driveway to the property was difficult to see from the road, and the location itself was nothing particularly special. The overall condition of the property suggests staffing issues and or management deficiencies. I would not consider this a three star hotel, and the quality does not justify the price per night. I am surprised to find it bearing the Hilton Brand. I do not believe that I would readily stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We considered attempting to leave early due to the quality deficiencies, which made us feel uncomfortable, though we had driven over four to five hours to get here. We were disappointed in this experience, having had a better experiences at another Home2 suites location...

Read moreI travel frequently for business and have experience staying in various hotel chains. This hotel had many excellent features, but also some that had me scratching my head; giving off the vibe that the franchisee wants to operate on the cheap end, but not fully commit to doing so.
Positives: Cleanliness - My room was very clean throughout. I was pleased to see this.
Noise - I could not hear my neighbors.
Comfort - The bed was very comfortable.
Neutrals: Fixtures - I had a broken bedside light during my stay. Swapped the lightbulb with another light out of curiosity, not the bulb - the light itself is broken.
Water Temperature - The water got lukewarm, but wouldn’t get as hot as I would’ve liked it to be.
Pool - I did not plan on using the pool, but you should be aware it is out of service.
Pillows - I found it odd that my bed only had 3 pillows. This is not typical based on my experience.
Negatives: Breakfast - The breakfast was not good. I don’t expect much from hotel breakfasts, but was disappointed in my cold biscuit and mushy apple. I was glad I had leftovers from dinner for the 2nd day I stayed. Also, there is a sign on the refrigerator for juice instructing guests to ask the front desk for help getting items due to “loss prevention”. We’re adults, every hotel has to face a degree of risk with a continental breakfast, don’t inconvenience your guests to have to ask someone for help getting juice.
Outside - This was very odd; there is a lawn chair sitting out front. I thought it may have been there briefly, but it was there both nights. There was someone sitting there smoking when I left at one point. A lawn chair out front as a seemingly permanent fixture didn’t exactly scream, “classy”. Also, when I first arrived, there were 2 people smoking weed outside the front door.
Overall - I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. I plan to revisit the area, but will likely aim to stay at another Hilton hotel. However, I would rather stay here than be farther...
