Enjoyed some of the best powder skiing at Heavenly during our stay since it snowed 3 feet on our arrival day. Unfortunately, Ridge Point resort left a lot to be desired.||||PROS: slopeside views, spacious condo, yup that's it.||||CONS: Deep breath...resort was grossly understaffed, and wholly unprepared to handle snow storm. Found mouse droppings in our sofa bed (eeew gross), hot water dispensed from water line in fridge , furnace couldn't keep up with overnight single degree temps, sliding door to patio froze shut (no insulation in windows), we had to dig out our patio ourselves and our slope side view was blocked by 9 feet of snow, hottub was inaccessible entire week because it was buried in snow (told it would be cleared by day 2 of our 7 day stay, did not get cleared until day 6), underground garage access and stairway to shuttle were not properly cleared of snow, TV remotes did not function properly and TV would randomly turn on in middle of night, wifi horribly slow, TWO false fire alarms set off in early AM hours that took 15 minutes to silence ear piercing alarms in condo, no common area lighting, several shuttle buses would pass us before we could go to Stagecoach lift because we were last stop on route and they were always full, overall access to resort was dangerous and not well cleared.||||I definitely would NOT Recommend staying at Ridge...

I do not recommend this place. Despite being advertised as renovated, the building itself is not. Door don’t close properly, draft is at every corner. During the snow period, they didn’t even clear the emergency exit pat. I check the emergency path on April 6, 7 and 8 and it was blocked by the snow. This set of unit is so far from the Holiday Inn ridge that it is pointless to have to pay for a resort fee. We had numerous issues with our “new unit” the fire place was not working nor the ice machine or the water, the stove clock never staying at the right time. Our unit was on the 3rd floor and we felt the vibrations of the jacuzzi pump 24/7. When the jets are turned on, the vibration and noise would wake up any one who sleeps in the back bedrooms when someone turn the jet on. The hot tub area doesn’t lock and it is not secured for kids. When Basic things like a pair of scissors. The maintenance people we internet. The staff overall feels like it has been there too long. There is only one shuttle driver that was very friendly. Shuttles to town are not to rely on. As John mentioned to me, these are courtesy shuttle, the time and frequency is a they discretion. Shuttles may pass way before their...

I was with a 30+ year owner at this resort. When the reservation was made, it was requested that we NOT be given a handicapped room. We called a couple of months ago to check on date and again confirmed a NON handicapped room. When we checked in and we’re handed the keys, we again confirmed a NON handicapped room. Guess what we got?? A HANDICAPPED room. The rooms had be redone and the shower in this room was a tiny roll in type. We were very tired from traveling and just accepted our fate. After going out to dinner, grocery store and unloading supplies - we turned on the TV and it didn’t work. We called and waited about an hour for someone to come and were told it could not be fixed until Mon- 3 days away. We then were moved next door after having to retrieve all our food, clothing, etc that had been put away for the week.||A few days later I went down on the elevator with a young couple that had been put in the original unit & the TV still didn’t work and they definitely were not happy with the unit.||This situation shows me that they pay zero attention to requests, they put people into rooms with things that don’t work, and they obviously could care less that they inconvenienced s...

Ridge Pointe, man, let me tell you about this slice of ski bum paradise perched up in the mountains above Lake Tahoe. First off, the views are like, whoa, mind-blowing, dude. It’s like Mother Nature painted a masterpiece and then was like, "Here, have a hot tub and a sauna to soak in it." Speaking of, the hot tub is where you'll find me thawing my frozen buns after a day shredding the gnar. And the sauna? A sacred temple for my sore muscles, no joke. The gym's there too, for those feeling guilty about skipping leg day, but let’s be real, the only lifting I’m doing is a pint after carving up the slopes. And get this, they’ve even got underground parking, so my ride stays as snug as a bug in a rug while I’m out chasing powder. But here’s the kicker, a shuttle straight to the ski lift. It's like they knew I'd be too lazy to walk in my gear. Ridge Pointe’s got it all, man. Great digs, epic views, and all the amenities a ski bum could dream of. What a spot to chillax and enjoy the mountain vibes!

The rooms were updated not too long ago. Check-in at the clubhouse is easy. The floor in the parking garage seems to be the least priority. Every time I arrive, there is a thick layer of dust and debris. It gets carried into the room and the car, no matter what how well I tap my shoes. The walls seem to be paper thin. When some noisy guests arrived in the next room around midnight, it felt like they were in my room. The insulation between the parking garage (level 1) and the ground floor (level 2) is very poor. One time I got a room on the ground floor and the heater would not keep up to heat the room adequately.
