Isleta Resort & Casino — Hotel in South Valley

Wow can I just say, my family and I live in Rio Rancho we've been having a rough year, we lost our home and many of our personal belongings, all because I decided I would like to continue my education to better my finances for my family, got behind on some bills and husband worked non stop, this year we finally get a break, saved up enough money to purchase a room to go swimming with our kids, so we packed our things and got here by 3pm so we can swim, we get down stairs and guess what it rains so we go back up stairs (no biggie) but then when we went to go eat, the treatment ppl gave us was disgusting, the cashiers didn't greet us, at all but yet had an attitude, the bell hop people made us use there service when we have trouble with trusting ppl, and she had an attitude with us also ... went to the pool again after rain blew over had fun ... walked out forgetting we had pool towels (my children) and the worker wasn't around but all of a sudden popped out of no where just to stop us .... my baby was freezing going upstairs ... and I had a room Towel for her but also didn't realize she had s pool towel and a man by the Elevator stopped us and said with an attitude I'll take that towel plz ... okay now if ur gonna have a pool let ppl take some kind of towel to there room ..because ppl like me who have issues with there plate and screws in there leg are painfully walking in cold floors berly walking with a baby who is dead cold .... people here are very rude and I buy rooms here regularly for swimming but since this happened and I was treated with such ugly treatment ... if I cud give a zero I would because a place can't be properly determined by just appearance, it's all about personality and how it's represented, dignity, respect, I don't know about these people but where I come from you treat people with respect no matter what aspect of who they are ... because u never know what they are living or going thru ... an you never what kind of people they can bring to a place like this ...but man I'm grateful my dad who came out here to Albuquerque for the first time (and also met him for the first time ) didn't not rent a room here because I would have lost it and had some things to say ... and I guarantee my father would have been sitting right next to me understanding and sharing the pain I felt from this place.... !!! Plz ppl do yourselves a favor and run away from this place.... if u do find urself here do not take crap from anyone ... and by that I mean stand up for urself don't let them push u around because 300$ is no picnic for Hard working ppl who work there butts off just to see a place like this... stay blessed! be safe everyone and have...

I've been traveling to this place since I was 18 years old to play in the bingo hall with My Beloved Mother Dolores, , Beloved Eldest Sister Gravy, My Beloved Sister Chino & My Beloved Auntys Frances & Bella and Ofc other family members but nothing comes close to the Unforgettable Magical Greatest & Most Cherished Memories we've had here at ISLETA CASINO & RESORT playing & winning bingo, playing slot machines & winning, putting in for drawings and My mother was a very lucky one of Our Group of family members to have her name drawn while we were all playing bingo, she won $10,000 dollars and we won't ever forget this incredible moment & memory for Our Dearly Departed Mother. The Casino made all her cancer worries go away for all them moments we would stop after an appt she'd have &/or our weekend traditions of traveling for an hour to attend the night Bingo. If you're looking for a Resort don't let the name fool you. Booked a 3 night stay for our honeymoon after reviewing all their amenities sounded like we would be occupied with something the whole time we were there. Checked in and wanted to put some valuables in the safe which wasn't working. They sent someone up to look at it and determined they couldn't fix it and that front desk would move us to another room. Front desk called and said they were booked so they gave us a $30 food credit instead. OK no biggie. Went down to explore and realized all the nice restaurants close at 2pm or don't open until 6 or are closed half the week so our first dinner was at panda express in their food court which was less than appealing, food was not fresh and staff unfriendly, when asked if they would be making more beef and broccoli we were told it would be awhile. My husband ordered a lemonade and were told they were out. Went to the Pool which is well kept but no music playing and not able to have a drink out there while relaxing. Took a shower and almost drowned, shower head sprayed everywhere and was unable to move it so you were stuck with water spraying in your face the whole time. Went back down to check out the Triple Seven Sallon to see if the atmosphere would be some music and more upbeat, closed, only open thursday thru saturday. Disappointing. Asked about their FUN center with bowling and arcades that is advertised on their website and they said it's been closed since COVID started. 🤬 Asked if we could buy a deck of cards or dice somewhere so we could play some games in our room and no they don't sell those. So after 30 minutes in the Casino and $100 down we retreated to our room to watch TV and enjoy the night in other ways. Decided we would order room service for breakfast available from 6 to 9am the next morning and go to another Casino in ruidoso. Woke up and tried to order room service got automated message 3 times saying they were serving other guests please try back. LOL nope. Will never stay here again. The rooms were clean but old, we did have a balcony but it overlooked the roof of the indoor pool. Front desk staff were friendly as well as spa staff and valet. Did not get to utilize the spa as we checked out early so can't comment on their services. They really need to update their website as I feel it is just false advertising at this point. If you're just traveling thru for one night it's adequate but wouldn't recommend for any special occasion...
