Amber Rose did an AMAZING last minute alterations job on my wedding dress! With literally one week until the wedding, I picked up my dress from a local seamstress who was to hem, bustle, and adjust the bust on the dress. When I tried the dress on, the chest was still very loose and droopy, and was told to use fashion tape (this was not going to fix the issue, especially when it was 95 degrees on the big day). I immediately called Amber Rose to see if they would be able to help me on such short notice. I was scheduled for an appointment the day I called and was impressed from the start. The 2 ladies began to point things out on the dress that they would need to correct, and knew exactly what the issue was when we talked about the chest being too loose (and the solution was not tape LOL). Within 2 days the dress was done and looked amazing! The owner said she had come into work on it over the weekend when the shop was closed, which I am very appreciative of! They worked so hard to make everything come together in such a short notice! The prices were very reasonable and the work was done professionally and looked great. I said yes to the dress! Shannon was wonderful to work with, when I walked in I wasn’t ready for my appointment, I had a very important phone call for school that of course just happened to call me as I am entering the doors and it took some time (15 minutes or so). Shannon was so care-free and patient she did not make me reschedule. Once we could get started she said to me, I picked out a dress for you but I won’t show you until you pick out your choices. I tried a few dresses on that were of course beautiful, but then I tried on Shannon’s choice and my family and friends instantly said that’s the one! What good taste she has!! I’m getting married on a beach and I couldn’t have found a more perfect dress for this occasion. She gave my family and friends wine to sip on while I tried on different dresses, even assisted my soon to be mother in law in looking at some mother of the groom dresses. They had a cute sign for us to hold up and take pictures with once I committed to a dress! 10/10 recommend you brides stopping into The Amber Rose Bridal!! Call and ask for Shannon! I can not say enough positive things about this place! I came into town the day before a wedding that I was a maid(matron) of honor in. Unfortunately, I had left the dress that I had planned to wear to the wedding and overnighting it to PA was unlikely to work. I immediately went looking for a dress that might work. The bridal assistant came over and I told her my plight... She discreetly asked for what wedding and informed me that the bride was there for her final fitting. She was considerate enough to think of avoiding that stress for the bride! Thankfully, she immediately found something that would work for me in my size AND did a complimentary temporary alteration to make it work for me the next day! I ended up with a dress that I liked MORE and paid less money for it! Not only that, she handled my emergency, the bride, us picking up all of the grooms outfits and 4 other walk ins all ALONE.
