Working with owner was very easy and he offered lots of info on eateries, grocery and a quick trip to Walmart. Had a couple of questions and he answered our text quickly. The campground is very clean and right on the banks of the Ohio. It was a wonderful place to use as our base for our trip to The Ark, Creation Museum and Kentucky Horse Park. Pictures posted on FB page are exactly what you have. Since we weren't looking for any amenities it suited our needs and we will use this campground as a place for a quick getaway since is only about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from home. Be Aware there is 1 community picnic table and a community fire pit though you can take your own. Relaxing just watching barges travel the Ohio.

What a great place to stay! The owner, Donnie, was about as chill to deal with as could be. Very accommodating. The campground was clean and spots are spaced out nicely. Nothing beats the sunsets here or watching the sun come up with the fog over the river. When staying the restaurant and bar next door has great burgers and there's a nice breakfast joint 3 minutes down the road. An excellent stay!

Backed up right to Ohio River. Beautiful view of River, boats, barges, and sunset, got to watch a beaver & geese. Small playground for kiddos, restaurants nearby that had live music. Full hookups. You do need to be self sufficient as far as restrooms/showers. No shower house/bathrooms on site. Community fire pit right behind site #8, on the river. Owner was very responsive via phone and text.

OH MY GOODNESS! We had one of the BEST week's camping we have ever had at this campground! Parked right on the Ohio River, watching the massive barges come up/down the river NEVER gets old. The owner has lived in the area all his life so is a wealth of knowledge. He told us to go down to the dam (about a mile away - visible from campground) when we saw a barge heading that way and go up the information tower to watch it going through the lock. If you have never done this, do NOT hesitate. We went up one afternoon and were there about 2 hours watching 2 barges and a small pleasure boat going through. FANTASTIC view and fascinating to watch. If you enjoy sunsets, there are some good ones here :) Our son loved the fact that there was a big fire pit down by the river so he was able to build a fire with driftwood. Whilst here we visited both the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter - both about 45 minutes away. One day, we went to downtown Cincinnati, still a reasonable drive. WARNING! This is a basic campground in that you need to be fully self-sufficient. ALL the sites are gravel with concrete patio pads & 50amp, full hook-ups. Back-in only but plenty big enough for our 43ft fifth wheel. HOWEVER there is NO office, NO shower house or laundry. Don't expect anyone to greet you when you arrive. You need to text/call the owner BEFORE you arrive and he will assign you a site number. He will drop by later for your payment. Price for staying the week was VERY reasonable. Plenty of local places to eat etc. If you are into gambling, there is a casino right across the river in Indiana. We will definitely come back here if we are ever in...

Very nice RV park. Perfect for adults. Not so much for families. It has a gym at the entrance. Nice perk. Owner is very nice to talk to. I would recommend coming here for a stay.

The only negatives I can think of would be lack of shade, the seeded grass area hasn't grown in fully yet, there's some garbage and wood on the banks by the river, and the sites are constantly bothered by these weird dragonfly like bugs. There were covering the sides of the RV's parked there longer than a week. Some issues are out of the owners control I think. Still...
