Royal Inn Spartanburg Business 85 — Hotel in Spartanburg

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Dirty floors, old blood on pillow sheets, toilet is disgusting and they have bed bugs! Woke up one morning and there's cops outside sitting in the parking lot and one night a fight broke out between staff and customers. And if you want to order pizza, no one will deliver because they claim they aren't safe if they deliver there. They are cheaply priced but after you pay, there's no refunds so you're stuck with losing money or staying in this crap hole. They don't give refunds because they know their place sucks and people would leave in a heartbeat. This place disgusted me so much that all I wanted to do was shower but then again you had roaches and milipedes in the tub. I was constantly sick at this place. Would give it zero stars if I could. Paid 70 dollars, yes 70 for just a few hours as I was stopping by. Looked okay online, was just exhausted and needed a place to stay. Got to my room and the roof was falling in, the room smelled so bad I could throw up, roaches were crawling on the walls and I’m almost positive there were bed bugs, I itched immediately after sitting down. I called to try and receive a refund because I can’t bare to let myself sleep there. The lady told me no refunds after 10 minutes, I was there for 14 felt extremely unsafe and saw what I was sure to be blood splatter on the wall. I would NEVER recommend this motel to anybody, not even my worst enemy. Staff was very rude and hung up on me before I could finish with what I had to say. Absolute terror...

We got there at around midnight and asked the manager if we could get a room for a couple of hours to just freshen up and stuff. He was really nice and gave us a discount for the time we were there. I went with my two teenage kids and since we were just freshening up the manager gave us two rooms to speed up the process and he just told us to not use the beds or anything which we were obviously fine with. Needless to say this hotel is awesome and everyone is so helpful and nice!! I would definitely recommend this...
