I hate to come here with a bad review, but it's honest and I took up every issue with the staff. I really want to give it one more stars out of pity, but I just cannot. I am not sure how this place has managed to stay open. This was our first time here, and our weekly dinner out. Worst Friday evening. We arrive, and were given no menus. There were lunch menus on the table at 7 pm, so we assumed that was all the choices. Host hastily points out they are out of 3 of the 5 choices, and about 4 side items. When we asked for a kids menu, only then were we offered a full menu. We were under the impression only the kids items were available from the menu. When we asked the waitress if we could order off the full menu, she gets an attitude and says "yeah, that's why she gave you a menu!" OK, so my wife sternly said back "she only gave me a menu because I asked for kid's choices." Oh, mind you, this waitress was carrying a baby around the entire time, not even hers. It's the cashier/busser's baby. I will say she was nice enough to give up her high chair that she wasn't using (because our waitress had the baby in her arms while preparing and serving food). She said she would get the other high chair later for herself. A kind gesture, but keep reading to the end to hear more about that.
Anyways, let's get to the food: First off, my baby was crying because he was hungry. The waitress asked if she could bring him some rolls. Gladly! However, we overheard her in the back saying, "hurry and get that baby some bread, he is so loud." Like the baby in her arms wasn't crying too... anyways, My club sandwich was just ok, but they were out of turkey and didn't put cheese on it. Fries were good. My kids' macaroni? COLD. I have never sent food back, but that day I did. They didn't charge me for it. Check was brought to us at same time as food, so i never got a refill on my water. When I went up to pay for the food, I thanked the cashier for letting me have her high chair earlier. Her response was "OK, Whatever." The audacity! I kept smiling, kept being kind because she clearly is adjusting from prison life back into society. I left a 20% tip, but it was a lie. It was more of a pity tip, knowing the staff probably spent their paychecks on stuff they shouldn't. Most of the staff were sitting around on their phones. 75% of the chairs were put up on tables at 7 pm when they close at 10.
Conclusion: I would tell you if you are looking for a cheap meal and don't care about kindness and a good atmosphere, go for it. Your food may or may not be clean, and may not be hot

Read moreI have been a customer of the Peach Blossom 20 years or longer. I have experienced dining inside and take out. Typically the food is always good. The reason for this review isn't about the quality of the food, it's about the quantity. I have noticed this more so with take out than dining inside the restaurant. The last few times I've ordered take out, hasn't been worth it. Peach Blossom has always been the restaurant with smaller portions. They've never had the same portions as you would get from Wade's or other places. I have continued to be a customer all these years even though they serve small portions. Today, is a different story. I ordered a meat with 3 vegetables at 16.00 dollars. I understand everything is more expensive no matter where you go. That's fine, but what's not fine is getting home with my meal to find out I barely had anything to eat! I don't know why their portions went from being already small compared to all the other restaurants, to a tablespoon size, if even that much. Again, I understand everything is more expensive and some places have downside their portions a little. I can use Wade's as an example because I dine there as well. The portions I received today from Peach Blossom doesn't make sense. What I picked up today would be something I would serve a toddler. Then again, maybe not even enough for a toddler! I hope this isn't what the future holds with dining at the Peach Blossom. If they are purposely downsizing to extremely small portions, maybe 3 bites from each side. Then as much as I don't want to do, it will keep me from going back. I think it's ridiculous to charge more money for something that's already been smaller portions than the norm. Now they're downsizing even more, leaving a few bites per meal! I hope it was a mistake and it won't...
Read moreTonight was my first experience at the Peach Blossom. We just moved closer to the restaurant recently and wanted to try it.
It was really just ok. They had some paper menus on the table, and we had to ask for a real one. My husband ordered the mushroom burger and onion rings. I tried to order shrimp but they were out so I went with a biscuit and gravy. I ordered a single, and she brought me a double which I thought was nice… I figured it’s late, they’re gonna throw them out at the end of the night, she’s just trying to get rid of it. But she didn’t change the check… it still said shrimp.
Also, they had rolls and butter. Even swimming in honey butter, I didn’t find the rolls very tasty at all. Quite blah.
I had to ask at the register for them to change my shrimp to a single gravy biscuit. Well, the cashier didn’t know how much the gravy biscuit was so she asked she employees that were sitting at the counter. One of them gave the price for a single, and then the lady from the kitchen got loud and kept insisting that she made me a double and kept shouting the price for a double gravy biscuit. I never was dishonest about it. I told the cashier I ordered a single and they brought me a double. Should I have sent it back? No. That was a choice my server made, and she even said she would only charge me for a single. But she didn’t write it on the check. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. They made me feel like I was trying to get out of paying for something.
I don’t see us coming back again.
The onion rings were pretty...
