Terrible service for the whole week we were there. Lady at the front desk has a terrible attitude problem. Manager put his hand in my mom’s face, we requested pillows which we never received. We spilled coffee on our sheets near the end of our stay and we never received them for 2 days until we left. At the beginning of our stay we informed the front desk we have 3 service dogs with confirmation letters, and she said it would be no problem. Yesterday at 9:30 pm the manager came and told us we had to leave due to our dogs. We kept to ourself all week no problems at all. We requested to speak with the manager all week due to these problems but he never showed up upon our request. However, when he wanted to show up he came and knocked on our door. Absolutely unprofessional and unbelievable. Me and my family will never recommend this place at all even if you’re staying 1 night. There were also drug deals and other illegal activities outside in the parking lot when we would take our dogs out. There were 2 children in the group of us during our stay and had to see drug deals go down because the dogs needed to go to the bathroom. When we notified staff of this they did nothing. There are signs everywhere outside saying there are cctv cameras operating 24/7 but there aren’t cameras anywhere. Not to mention the amount of pedophiles that are in that hotel is insane . Our power went out one night and the maintenance guy said he can’t come because he was cooking his dinner. Absolutely ridiculous. How do they have only one maintenance person in that hotel? The manager was very rude and unbelievably unprofessional. I would never recommend this place at all. Also, there were bedbugs in our room. None of the housekeeping or maintenance or even the manager speaks English well they don’t understand anything anybody says. There’s always loud commotion in the hallways during the night. One of the bathrooms at the pool the door is screwed shut, the breakfast they offer is pre-packaged muffins, waffle maker, fruit, and orange juice that tastes 2 years old. Breakfast is also from 6-9 AM so if you want breakfast you have to wake up extra early for something you can get at Walmart. We have already contacted corporate. Also when they tried to give us another room when our power went out, the lights in there were flickering and all messed up. Nothing in that hotel is good. The only thing that hotel gave us was a roof and a pool. Those are the only good things there. Absolutely insane. Do not...
Read moreMade the reservation online due to my children having AAU track and field competition in the area. Once checked into our room, there were no towels immediately we noticed that when my children went to take showers, thankfully we always travel with towels One of my children placed our fruit sandwich, meat, sliced cheese, and things like that into the refrigerator so that in the morning we could have it prepared for competitions for Saturday and Sunday while we are there if anyone knows competitions aren’t all day situation children need to be provided healthy, and things to eat that will hold them through the day. Woke up that next morning refrigerator never was cold. Everything in the refrigerator went bad and I had to discard of it when I addressed the issue to the front desk I was already leaving to head to the university. They told me they would have someone come into the Room to change out or repair the refrigerator. A manager would contact me in regards to anything concerning about refund or compensation due to my food items for my children. No one ever contacted me later that evening once we went back to the room to take showers get ourselves together to go have dinner. Our personal towels were taken in the housekeeper only left about 10 washcloths our personal towels. Do not look like anything of theirs. They’re larger whiter, thicker, much more better quality than yet they still took them as if they were their own towels, but housekeeper never took the trash never gave us towels and maintenance. Never repaired refrigerator. I addressed it again to the front desk and that is when two hours after we were settled in the room Maintenance wanted to arrive to repair the refrigerator. This was a horrible experience. Breakfast was horrible. Nothing worth eating or attempting to eat at all the pool area and pool doesn’t even smell like chlorine cloudy and very extremely slippery and at least 100° temperature in the room area where the pool is. Yet I am still towed. I need to contact them tomorrow morning between a certain time to be able to speak to someone in regards to a refund or some type of...
Read moreThis place should be avoided! Calling this a Convention Center is the equivalent of laying a piece of plywood on a pair of sawhorses and calling it a banquet table. It sits off the road in a poorly lit area and is badly in need of repairs and updating. We reserved a room with two beds and requested a rollaway for a week-end visit. Upon arrival we found no rollaway in the room. When we contacted the desk an extremely rude and agitated woman said the room was too small for a rollway and then changed her story to “none available”. We did not choose the room and our reservation was made days in advance so neither excuse was valid. She informed me that we could sleep in the two beds. I have medical issues that make it necessary that I do not share a bed. It is certainly not the privilege of a hotel operator to dictate sleeping arrangements for guests. When pressed she demanded we leave or she would call the police. We told her we intended to stay and at that point a man approached the desk and allowed us to check in. We ended up sending one of the children to spend the night with a relative.||Poor security is a big issue with the place. There was a lot of activity in the parking lot and a woman sitting behind the wheel of a car seemed to be passed out. The entry panel to the building did not work so anyone could access the building. The locking handle to a patio door that led to the atrium and pool area was broken and dangling from the door so there was no way to secure our room..||After one night we elected to not stay a second. When we checked out the clerk told us it was not possible to get a printed receipt. Now I know why. A day later an email came showing we were charged for both nights. This receipt that we were not allowed to see until after the fact contains policy information we were not provided at time of reservation, check in, or check out. We have complaints filed with the credit card company, Quality Inn offices, and the Choice Privileges Rewards Program. This place should be renamed the Poor...
