This was my first time going into a Popeyes restaurant. I will never be back to this loaction. First thing I noticed before my order was even taken was the way the manager Brooke spoke to her associate. She was very demeaning and belittling with both her words and tone. I held my tongue because I'm just walking into the situation so i wanted to observe closer. Finally my order is taken and the meal combos programmed into the system don't match the board in the resturant. So I had to just go with the button the employee either was comfortable with or the closest she could find. Going through my order with the employee I can clearly see she is either new or untrained therefore not able to handle her station on her own. Which is now causing a ripple effect esp with a manager that has a bad attitude. Throw on top of all that 4 other customers who have been waiting 20 plus mins. Then the manager told the employee to make my PO Boy sandwich. She informed the manager she doesn't know how. The manager gave a piss poor reply and leaves to disappear into the back for several mins with now 7 customers still waiting. It was also made with chicken bout shrimp. Mean while there is a second manager slowly putting dry goods from the truck away. Not bothered with trying to rectify the chaos up in the front. The poor drive thru employee and the cook in the back were the only ones trying to do their job and were clearly also frustrated with the lack of leadership, supplies, training, and professionalism. This establishment clearly needs to put forth the time and resources to retrain and/or further train the current employees of all levels within the store. To say the least this experience was beyond disappointing. Not to mention a waste of $35 which I should've just gotten my money back and left everything was horrible and cold. Read moreGot to Popeyes at 8:40 and ordered 3 chicken sandwich meals. Was told at the window it would 6 minute wait. Ok no problem got our drinks and pulled to the first parking spot. This was 8:50 at this point. About 20 minutes goes by and we brought out 3 sandwiches but no fries. The girl acted like we didn’t pay for our combos so we showed her the receipt and she said she would get the fries. 20 more minutes Goes by and we still have no fries. Other customers were waiting as well and hadn’t got their orders either. I try to go in as I seen a party walk out of the building and right as I reach the door and the employee who was supposed to bring out our fries runs towards the door and locks me out. I was simply gonna wait for our fries with my receipt and ask for a plain chicken sandwich because one sandwich was made incorrectly and I was bringing it back in. I tried calling their number and it said it was no longer in service. We had to pull back in line and ask the girl at the window where our fries were and to remake the sandwich. This is at 9:30 at this point. So this whole ordeal is 40 minutes long for 3 simple meals that costed us 30 dollars! My husband tells her we didn’t get our fries and one sandwich was wrong and we had been here for 30 minutes. Her reply was oh I know sorry bout that can I give you a free cookie. Wow a cookie really!!! Needless to say this has been by far the worst experience ever. They didn’t care to get us our food just got us off their drive thru time and kept moving cars and left about 4 cars including ours sitting for 40 minutes waiting on food! This is totally unacceptable and we will not come back to this Popeyes and I will make sure to tell all the people we know...
Read moreStaff is slow and careless, which is normally acceptable for fast food (albeit unpleasant). The food is usually fine, sometimes it's nasty. However, the part where it get's ugly is how the staff treat customers. This is hands down, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They don't just suck... they're actively rude towards you for literally no reason at all. I've had people stop me while ordering and have had people actually raise their voice at me. This seems to be acceptable here and therefore, I would not recommend that anyone spend their hard earned money on overpriced chicken while they great treated like they're an inconvenience by some jerk who's angry at life.
And for bonus points, the hygiene is pretty awful. There was a time I walked inside and decided not to order with my friends because one guy behind the line was so visibly dirty that it turned my stomach.
