Casa Magnolia Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in St. Louis

The Casa Magnolia was a great place to stay; I'd even go so far as to say it's probably the best B&B I've been to. My girlfriend and I were coming for a few days to visit my sister who lives just south of Tower Grove Park, so the location was very convenient. We stayed in the Queen Room, which was nice because you have views of both the park and back of the house. I believe I was going to get the King Room first but then I noticed the bath was across the hall for the King and I just prefer to have the bath attached to the room I'm in. The house itself is very beautiful and add to it the decor, makes it more than stunning!

Jordi and Lillabet were the best hosts that one could imagine. They were more than accommodating with dietary restrictions and I believe they had the best breakfast that I've had from any B&B. Make sure you have room because they give you plenty to eat! They are very open and friendly and make you feel like you are a part of their family.

We loved the home. There are only three rooms available. Which means we never saw the other couple staying as our schedules didn't align. The home is full of local antiques. There a separate TV room with working fireplace which is ready to go with just one match. Tons of great stories. Breakfast is extremely tasty and very hardy, large portions. The neighborhood is very quiet. Extremely easy parking just in front of the house. It faces a large city park. Within walking distance is a huge botanical garden which we will need to do next time.||They offered us to pick any of the open rooms upon our arrival. We had reserved the king but missed the detail that the private bathroom was down the hall. We selected the queen which has a full size bed and a newly updated bathroom attached. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance! You can’t beat the location or service. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Magnolia. The home is absolutely gorgeous, filled with warm antiques contemporary to the date the home was built. Our room was private, elegant and had all the amenities. Delicious coffee and a great homemade breakfast highlighted by the hosts’ welcoming company - Jordi and Lillabet are both very lovely. This was our first experience in a “real” bed and breakfast and certainly won’t be our last. There are several dining options, including coffee and dessert, within walking distance.
