I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. You're ONLY paying for the location, since it's located conveniently at the entrance of the University. You shouldn't trust the other reviewers who think it's a sin to give a negative review.
I'll keep this simple and objective:
Don't stay here. Stop rewarding laziness and incompetence. It's anti-capitalist.
I'll take this review down if someone from the hotel would just talk to me. But they won't. Three voicemails later and I've still heard nothing. Looking forward to sharing with fellow alumni...
Read moreAt first glance our room looked great. As I was wiping everything down with Lysol wipes, I noticed a lot of dust. I thought the room had probably not been used in awhile. I found out I was very wrong as I saw toe nail clippings on the bathroom floor. Once I moved to wipe down the bedside table, more clippings were on the floor. I then went to put my suitcase on the floor and surprise! More toenails 🤮 At this point I went down to the grumpy clerk and asked for a broom to sweep the room. I was told there was no broom available but I was handed a swiffer. Hmmm. OK. I proceeded to swiffer the room myself and thought I finally got all the clippings. See picture attached. Nope, in the proceeding days my earbud fell under the sink cabinet in the bathroom and guess what I found under it? I'm sure you know the answer. Oh! And there's a pick under there too if anyone is interested. Room 204. The final straw was when my husband had toenail clippings stuck to his feet from walking barefoot in the room. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention the extremely unfriendly and not helpful worker that was working around 5pm on Sunday April 30. I am stuck here for 3 more days. I will update you about more disgusting things I find in our room. It's like a scavenger hunt that I never would voluntarily play. I did inform the grumpy worker about the toenails and there was no offer of switching rooms, having housekeeping come, nothing. Will NEVER...
Read moreI arrived on July 4th close to 4:00 pm . The front desk person was sitting in the lounge area on her phone . She walked up to I and my husband and just looked at us like we were suppose to greet her first . That was unprofessional !!! Once she started helping us her personality seemed ok . The overall customer service for your front desk needs work anyway. The front desk needs to be smiling when guest walk in and allways greeting them. We went to our room and it was a nice room but could have been cleaner. The breakfast was ok but really made it better coming down every morning was Me Vickie great person and great personality. This woman really takes pride in her area . The only thing I would say is that there was a cleaning cloth that stayed by the water with lemons and there were gnats flying around the area... probably because it needed to be change to a clean one. I would have have gave you a 4 star rating if my first impression walking in would have been different . We stayed until July 7th because of a wedding . We are from Naples , FL / and I guess our standards are different .Would I stay here again probably not ... Maybe if every...
