Sesame Grill — Restaurant in Steubenville

Called to grab lunch because I was picking someone up there I didn't have a menu in front of me and I have never eaten there. I ordered a meal 3 orders spring rolls. They shoved all spring rolls into one bag. Which is just ridiculous how much money are you saving on the two wax bags? That of course caused them to steam and be completely soggy... not that they would have been good regardless. They were nothing but dough, same with my friends egg roll. I wouldn't mind if I had stopped by a fast food Chinese.. all those things are frozen. Customers pretty much know what they're getting. People act like this place is an authentic restaurant like Alice and Phil's on 4th Street used to be. With the $35 price tag for the above, I thought so too. Used to love this place. Went for Valentines day dinner, WORST FOOD I EVER HAD AND IT WAS COLD AND FOOD WAS BARELY WARM. WAITRESS MADE A MISTAKE ON MY HUSBANDS DINNER, THEY CHARGED 8.00 EXTRA FOR HIS COMBINATION DINNER. FORGOT THIS SHRIMP WHICH THEY MADE OVER BUT CHARGED IN TOP OF COMBINATION DINNER. $76.00 FOR 2 PEOPLE . I WAS SO DISSAPPOINTED I TAKE MY GRANDCHILDREN HERE AT LEAST 6 TIMES A YEAR. I CALLED TO TELL THEM HOW AWFUL THE FOOD WAS, SHES LIKE YES I KNOW YOU COME IN ALOT BUT COULD OF CARED LESS. THE FOOD WAS READY IN 5 MINUTES, IT TASTED LIKE IT WAS RE-HEATED AND DRIED OUT. Many, many years ago as a college student I had come here as someone new to Chinese food. Even today, I hold this restaurant's orange chicken as my standard of how it should taste. I'm glad to see it still tastes amazing! I love the booth alcoves which give a measure of privacy to a small group. Our waitress was friendly and had a great smile. She was good to my kid and made sure she felt welcome. If I have one small complaint, it's that the fried rice lacked flavor. But everything else was good.
