Cattle Country Lodge — Hotel in Stroud

I booked one room online and then called and added a second room directly with the motel. They charged me the higher online price for the second room. Everyone else that traveled with us and booked by calling them direct payed significantly less than we did. Our group filled the entire motel. They were sold out. They gave my higher priced room booked in my name to the other party traveling with us, and still charged us the higher price for the second room that I called and directly booked with them. They told me because I booked the first room online they had to charge me the higher rate. To top it off one of the beds had stains on it, asked them to change it hours later still not done I had to take the dirty covers to them and ask for clean ones. I will say the food in the restraunt was good. That's the only reason I gave them 3 stars. Next time I'll stay somewhere else.

Update: I received a phone call from friends that stayed there with us in the second room.. They charged their credit card for both rooms and they for some unknown reason refunded my room according to their front desk. Totally incompetent. Horrible...

Not very impressed. We called them lwhen we were about 2 hours away and made reservations. When were given the key it wouldn’t work When we called the lady she said she was not coming down there and if we wanted the key we had to come to lobby to get it. So I did then afterwards it worked. Wrong room ! Had 2 beds not 1.not jacuzzi room either she gave us 114 instead of 119. Then she came back and gave key to 119. Opened room it was scorching hot. They could have atleast had AC on. Also when asking her about it she was very defensive and rude! Also they had no continental breakfast. You had to pay ! This is with room at over 100.00 We probably would not stay here again Also earlier this morning the manager would not even come up to talk with me. The lady at desk was not saying anything I had to get apology out of here. ...

Terrible service. Our party was told we could order breakfast and that we had gotten there just in time as they were setting up for a lunch buffet. 45 minutes after we ordered we still had not gotten our food. When my wife asked a server what was taking so long the server replied (with a very smart tone)"I don't know. I'm not back there cooking." We asked to speak to the manager and the apparent kitchen manager came out to tell us that we were told not to order breakfast (not the case at all) and that our food had not even been started yet so we should just have the lunch buffet. No apology. Needless to say we left without eating. I will never again set foot in this place and I would not recommend that anyone else do so. Horrible service, horrible management, and rude servers. Gave one star since zero was...
