Update: turning on the fan in room's mini HVAC unit created enough white noise to mitigate the "thin wall" talking neighbors issue.

While no expert, over the years I've been in hotels across the country, cheap through luxury, and I cannot remember ever being in one with walls so bad at blocking noise. You can hear most words from conversation from the neighboring room if they have any degree of life in them. I thought the door was bad at blocking sound (but that's happened, before at hotels). It's hard not to wonder whether the contractor built the room while the inspector wasn't around to make sure they did materials & build practices with high STC, or if the owner decided to pare down on the expense during the project. Pray you don't get talkative neighbors (or something else. . .). Obviously, I did not luck out on non-talkers.

Otherwise, lobby was surprisingly nice. Main room was clean and well presented at initial entry. Service at desk was very professional.

Bathroom, though. . . smelled like the shower curtain needed a wash (admittedly, my nose is sensitive, I'll start smelling mold on a cheese block before a couple days before you ever see the mold). Shower curtain had a small tear. Tiny bathroom. And it looks like people installing the pressurized pipe for the shower had different plans than the people installing the drain, gravity pipe? First time I can remember seeing a generic tub where the drain is on the opposite end from where the water turns on and spits out. Maybe that's intentional? But given the sound issue, one wonders. . .

I was very hopeful walking in, and if they were not busy, probably a great place and good value. Unfortunately, I'm a light sleeper, they were busy, and these...

We ALWAYS book through Priceline no matter where we've stayed and have no issues on our requests. I even called before going to make sure everything goes through correctly. They told me yes on a handicap room and that's why I was being charged the extra $10. I said okay. Our room was NOT handicap accessible. Then when we checked in, they charged us a deposit! Told us it was a $100 cash or $50 on my card. I asked why and all she kept saying was it was policy if I still wanted to stay. I had no choice because they already charged my card and kept my money from when we prebooked the room. I thought I was going to fall through the glass windows of the stand up shower because I forgot my shower chair and my shoulders kept causing the door to slide open. There was no handle to hold on to inside the shower only the door so that was even scarier. The refrigerator froze or drinks instead of keeping them cold. There wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign for our room. I'm in the bathroom right after taking frightening shower when I heard a knock and a voice say housekeeping and I thought she was coming in until my son got out of bed to tell her not right now. I had to go to the front desk to get one. We were on the top floor but when trying to sleep at at 11 pm, it sounded like a zoo was above us. I don't know who was running up and down the hall, going in and out of their room, but it was unnecessary. It went on for over an hour. We never got a chance to use the pool due to quite a few guests with kids, so we let them enjoy themselves. Our family stayed here numerous times and highly recommend this place. I'm not too sure if I'll stay here...

🅾️KEYS 🔑 DON’T WORK..!!🅾️ We stayed here for 5 nights and we had to reprogram our keys everyday multiple times and a lot of times we had to wait in line while other guests are checking in and instead of fixing the problem they’ll say it’s happening because you’re keeping it next to your cellphone 📲 and credit cards 💳. Even though I was literally keeping it in my book bag 💼 or car door side pocket but it won’t work for my room but will work at pool 🏊‍♀️ door and gym 🏋️‍♀️. I also noticed other guests complaining about the same issue.

🅾️BREAKFAST 🍳 WAS A JOKE..!!🅾️ First 2 days they didn’t even have anyone to refill their very limited items they call continental breakfast 🧇

🅾️SWIMMING 🏊‍♀️ POOL STINKS 😷🅾️ There was very strong smell 👃 of something in the pool I don’t know what was it but it wasn’t chlorine.

🅾️HOUSEKEEPING 🧼 USELESS🅾️ They had a sign 🪧 saying housekeeping 🧽 will be on request only or it will automatically be provided on a 3rd night. But dear guests if you’re staying in this hotel for more than 3 nights make sure you request multiple times in order to get your room serviced otherwise they won’t, because we had to request twice after 3rd night and it was useless.

ALL SHE DID WAS THANKFULLY 😅 EMPTY OUT THE GARBAGE 🗑️ PUT 2 NEW FRESH TOWELS 🥋ON THE SINK 🚰 COUNTER aaannnddd LEFT..!! She gooonnneee..!!
