I thought this place was gonna be super awesome. It looks great on the outside. Has some beautiful property and the rooms are on the better side but nowhere near worth the price...what I was most excited about was the food. We ordered room service and got the thirty-two-ounce porterhouse, which was $195, and the cheeseburger which was 24. Also, we got the doughnut holes for dessert. All the food comes from CPK which is their on-site restaurant. THIS FOOD WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!! Our $200 steak was unevenly cooked first of all. It was medium well At the tip medium in the middle and then at the very end, the thick part was medium rare. It was hard to cut through and Honestly, the cut of beef was good, but not the best. We'd ever had. I can't believe they have the nerve to charge. So much for something that was so underwhelming. The roasted asparagus was not just roasted, it was burnt. I mean, it's one thing to Char. Roast a vegetable, but it's another thing to have the outside completely blackened and taste like nothing but charcoal. The potato dish they gave us on the side was lazily put together with only blue cheese Sprinkles on top. Yes, the the dish was impressive with the thinly sliced potatoes all stacked on top of each other. But yeah, it was just butter. There was no salt or seasoning whatsoever. My partner got 2 diet cokes to go with dinner and both were flat. I ordered a drink from the bar. And by the time it got to me it was apparent, it had been sitting for quite some time as the ingredients separated and the ice was more than halfway melted. The burger was okay for a hotel burger. I guess the best part about that was the cheese, but the patties did not seem like they were made here at the hotel, but rather ordered from somewhere. The donut holes were more cake than donut, and the caramel sauce was very disappointing. Honestly, I expected more from a place that charges so much for everything. Never been so underwhelmed by a meal in my life. On top of that stupid us ordered breakfast for the next day...cinnamon toast crunch french toast and plain pancakes with drinks. My iced tea came as an iced coffee, the pancakes were cold and frankly, IHOP can make it better. Clearly made from a mix and if not then send your chef back to culinary school week 2 and relearn how to make pancake batter from scratch! Now, cinnamon toast crunch French toast. Yeah like the cereal. There was NO taste of cinnamon AT ALL let alone the taste of the iconic cereal. The "fresh brioche bread" was sliced store-bought crap you couldn't tell the difference between brioche and Texas toast. It was overcooked and served with random berries on top presumably to make it look pretty because it had no other purpose on the plate. The bottle of champagne I ordered an hour later took 30 MINUTES to get to my room and I had to call them to check up on it!! It was brought to me lukewarm with the condensation completely dripping on the outside like it had sat out for the entire 30 minutes before being brought...hmmmmm sounds just like the drinks we got at dinner. Overall this place isn't worth the effort. At all. Book your stay at the casino down the street for HOT EDIBLE food worth the price you pay....
Read moreI recently spent two days and one night at Temecula Creek Inn, along with a group of golfing ladies that I belong to. While the golf course is beautiful and very enjoyable to play the service, in the restaurant and the hotel staff, including the manager, leave a lot to be desired. The staff connected to the pro shop are very nice and made us all feel welcome.
When I checked into the hotel the front desk staff told me where I could park my car so it would be convenient to my room location, which I did. After playing golf on our day of arrival and then again the following day I loaded my car up with my golf clubs, etc. to return home. It was at this time that I noticed that my car had been covered with spraying from a sprinkler over night. This was not just a few water marks....this was recycled water (including the fertilizer that they use on the grounds) that had covered all of the front of my car back on the sides to the end of my car. The mixture of recycled water had left a very heavy "salty residue" that you could not only see, but feel with your hands! Very damaging to my paint and sealer on the car. Needless to say I was extremely upset and concerned, After checking with my car dealer (my car is only 3 years old) I was told to get the car taken care of ASAP as this recycled water is the worst thing on your paint and can eat through your paint. After all was said and done and I found a company to treat my car with a Clay Waxing and Buffing it cost me $175 plus a tip.
I called the front office of the Inn and asked to speak with the manager as I thought he/she should be aware of what had happened in hopes that no one else would have to experience the same thing. The girl that answered the phone told me "she could help me with that" after I requested to speak to the manager. After telling my story to her she put me on "hold" and upon returning to the phone informed me that she had spoken to the manager and all he could do for me is offer me $20 towards a car wash! I told her that was an insult! She had also mentioned in the beginning of our conversation .... when I told her about the spraying of the water on my car from the sprinkler...."Oh, I thought we had gotten that fixed!" So there must have been some one else that has had this same experience. The manager did not ask to speak to me to explain his offer or to even apologize that this had happened to my car.
In my opinion the management and staff are failing badly at customer service and making people want to return to their facility. It is for sure that I will never return and will pass on my experience to every one I get an opportunity to talk to about it and I will recommend that our lady's golf group discontinue their relationship with Temecula Creek Inn. The golf was nice, but my stay was not! Obviously I do not recommend this hotel/golf course to any one,
The service in the dining room was very poor and very slow.....and my room mate and I were the only ones there at the time....breakfast time. The food...
Read moreMe and my fiance have been looking at this establishment for quite some time now. Even before he proposed to me! It was absolutely beautiful and I was super excited to actually be over the check the place out. My friend had mentioned it she stayed there once or twice and that they were nothing but kind, helpful, and overall wonderful staff. My friend had given me the name of the hotel manager and her name was Tracy so when I called to reserve a room I asked for her. After speaking with Tracy everything was just wonderful she told me that she be able to give me a tour of the place and you know show me all the wonderful wedding packages that they had for me and my fiance. She assured me that I would have a wonderful time staying there. After speaking with Tracy I went along to reserve my room the lady helping me do that was all so wonderful and very hopeful she assured me that it was going to be $109 and she was going to waive the resort fee and the taxes. This wonderful lady told me that it was going to be a total of 109 so I pulled out as much money as I could before that day I wasn't able to pull out anymore and I double checked and made sure that it was a hundred and I even got a confirmation email saying that it was going to be that much. After driving over 3 hours to get there I get to the wonderful Resort and it was just drop dead gorgeous! Me and my fiance was so excited and so happy to be able to check this place out and get a feel for what was going to be the start of the rest of our lives. But of course my fantasy ended in tragedy. Tracy was there to welcome me and she was just a wonderful lady but when I was going to pay for my room she told me that I needed a $100 deposit on my card and it was going to be a total of $225 I told her that that didn't seem right because the lady on the phone told me it was only going to be a hundred and nine and she was going to waive the resort fee and taxes. I show Tracie the confirmation email and everything and she said "oh okay okay yeah I got that down it's in the notes so that's covered but I still need $100 deposit for the room for security reasons." That is totally understandable and I wasn't going to argue I was just very disappointed that I drove all that way. Me and my fiance had no other place to go nowhere to sleep. Thank God we ended up finding a room that was an hour drive further from our home it was pretty run-down and janky but it was alright. After that experience I am not totally sure I would consider having my wedding there because think about it if they lied about that what else would they be...
