We ordered room service and got the thirty-two-ounce porterhouse, which was $195, and the cheeseburger which was 24. Also, we got the doughnut holes for dessert. All the food comes from CPK which is their on-site restaurant. THIS FOOD WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!! Our $200 steak was unevenly cooked first of all. It was medium well At the tip medium in the middle and then at the very end, the thick part was medium rare. It was hard to cut through and Honestly, the cut of beef was good, but not the best. We'd ever had. I can't believe they have the nerve to charge. So much for something that was so underwhelming. The roasted asparagus was not just roasted, it was burnt. I mean, it's one thing to Char. Roast a vegetable, but it's another thing to have the outside completely blackened and taste like nothing but charcoal. The potato dish they gave us on the side was lazily put together with only blue cheese Sprinkles on top. Yes, the the dish was impressive with the thinly sliced potatoes all stacked on top of each other. But yeah, it was just butter. There was no salt or seasoning whatsoever. My partner got 2 diet cokes to go with dinner and both were flat. I ordered a drink from the bar. And by the time it got to me it was apparent, it had been sitting for quite some time as the ingredients separated and the ice was more than halfway melted. The burger was okay for a hotel burger. I guess the best part about that was the cheese, but the patties did not seem like they were made here at the hotel, but rather ordered from somewhere. The donut holes were more cake than donut, and the caramel sauce was very disappointing. Honestly, I expected more from a place that charges so much for everything. Never been so underwhelmed by a meal in my life. On top of that stupid us ordered breakfast for the next day...cinnamon toast crunch french toast and plain pancakes with drinks. My iced tea came as an iced coffee, the pancakes were cold and frankly, IHOP can make it better. Clearly made from a mix and if not then send your chef back to culinary school week 2 and relearn how to make pancake batter from scratch! Now, cinnamon toast crunch French toast. Yeah like the cereal. There was NO taste of cinnamon AT ALL let alone the taste of the iconic cereal. The "fresh brioche bread" was sliced store-bought crap you couldn't tell the difference between brioche and Texas toast. It was overcooked and served with random berries on top presumably to make it look pretty because it had no other purpose on the plate. The bottle of champagne I ordered an hour later took 30 MINUTES to get to my room and I had to call them to check up on it!! It was brought to me lukewarm with the condensation completely dripping on the outside like it had sat out for the entire 30 minutes before being brought...hmmmmm sounds just like the drinks we got at dinner. Service is abysmal to go along with the food. Literally hate this place. It killed...

Cass was our server extraordinare and had other staff members provide assistance during our meal. All of the staff were friendly, kind and efficient. We ordered drinks and my wife had a bloody Mary and I had a nice IPA. For lunch my wife ordered the Mary's Chicken sandwich with fries and I had the fish and chips. The food, service, ambiance and view were all spectacular. Highly recommended
2/4/2024 What an amazing way to start the day at Cork Fire Kitchen in Temecula. An amazing dining experience, great customer service, and ambiance galore overlooking the golf course. We started with drinks. Coffee and OJ for me and my wife had the Cappuccino. Brock and Nathan were both excellent, and the place was hopping. Very popular. My wife ordered the homestyle breakfast, and I had the herb and Burrata omelet. Both dishes were simply amazing, and the ingredients were so fresh. Probably the best breakfast we have had in a while, and we try them all. Highly recommended!
7/2/2023 What a wonderful place as we dined at the Cork Fire Kitchen on the golf course. McKenna M. was our server and was fantastic. McKenna was so professional and kind. We met friends there for breakfast and the food and drinks were very good. I had an omelet, and my wife had the egg breakfast plate with our friends ordering oatmeal and eggs Benedict with salmon, cheese, and a bagel. The service and ambiance are terrific, and the dining room is quite comfy. Highly recommended.
Previous visit What an amazing place. Kaden the young man up front was outstanding, quite professional and stellar customer service. We went Saturday for lunch and Sunday for breakfast. Saturday we had Leila B as our server and she was amazing, so sweet and quite attentive. My wife had the chicken sandwich and I had the Mahi Mahi fish and chips. Both excellent and paired nicely with our drinks at the bar prior to sitting down outside for lunch. A wonderful time and great food, people and a view of Temecula Creek Golf Course. The experience was so good that we cancelled our other reservation for Sunday and came back for breakfast. Laura B was our server and so nice and sweet as well as accommodating. My wife had a bloody Mary with French toast and eggs over medium and I had scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes..with bananas of course. So so good. We have stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn last time and found this gem of a restaurant. Amazing food, staff and ambiance. We highly recommend this wonderful...
Read moreWe stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn when house-hunting several years ago before we moved to Temecula. So while we had had enjoyed breakfast/brunch at Cork|Fire, we had never been there for dinner. All that was remedied recently when we met up with friends for an evening trifecta of great drinks, great food and great company at Cork|Fire.
Up first, cocktails! The holy hand grenade was delicious, not too sweet and beautifully garnished, and tableside smoking of some old-fashioneds is always fun. While the creamy cider vinaigrette on my Waldorf burrata salad was yummy, I didn’t think there was enough “stuff” in the salad (apples, grapes, celery and pecans).
For the main course, the diver scallops with lemon spaetzle was excellent – perfectly seared with an incredible sauce. My husband had the wagyu flat iron steak which was delicious as well.
I rarely order dessert when dining out. Yes, I do a LOT of baking and have pretty high standards in this regard. But if I see something interesting – like the donut holes – or a lemon dessert, I’m in! Our table had the ricotta donut holes and the berry tart. While I really enjoyed the donut holes (but would ask for extra whiskey caramel sauce next time), my husband wasn’t wild about them. You get six large warmed donut holes which have the texture of a cake donut (which I prefer) instead of a lighter yeast donut. The berry tart however, was nothing to write home about. I found the chocolate pastry shell to be way too thick and while I love that they use local berries which were good, the custard was disappointing.
Service was great, ambiance is warm and overall, our cocktails & meals were excellent. So this dinner experience, coupled with several awesome breakfasts and lunches awhile back, merit Cork|Fire a five-star...
