Statesman Inn Motel — Hotel in Terre Haute

BED BUG INFESTEDplace should be shut down out of business. I had to have some repairs done to my house so my husband my son and I decided to stay there for the night because the smell the paint in the house was too strong especially for a 16 month old. We chose the stateman because it's close to home and our car isn't running the best. We get to our room and I give my son a bath as my husband starts hooking our roku to the TV. 4 different wifi signals and none of them work which was frustrating because we asked if it did work before we paid for the room. After calling the office a couple of times nothing was done to fix it so we just drcided to find something on cable and go to bed. When we turned down the blankets I wanted to be sick a live bed bug crawling down the sheet. As we got looking more both beds were covered in bed bugs dead and alive also covered in the tracks bed bugs leave behind. i absolutely wasn't paying 65 dollars to sleep in a bed full of bugs. I went to the office and told them the issue and asked for my money back. The ower became very irritate with me calling me a lair and stupid insisting his rooms didn't have bugs and he refused to return my money. After arguing with him his wife and daughter they call who they said was the manager on the phone I told him the issue and he told me to show the people at the motel the bug so the man his daughter and a couple of people they have cleaning the rooms in exchange for living there all go in I show them the bugs and tracks and because the bug wasn't alive they still refused to refund my money and kicked me off the property. I'm unsure what is worse the fact the bugs were there or the fact that there was dead ones which means the so called house keeping didnt clean at all. I will not let this go I'm going to the news the board of health and I will not stop until this place is shut down I GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS unfortunately on google you have to put at least one...

I paid to be there just like everyone else.....at first things were alright but then as my time there went on all of a sudden I'm being treated like I came off of the street and begged for a room for free.....all I wanted was a good room and to be left alone.....but instead I got an owner that couldnt keep his hands or lips to himself making me very uncomfortable when I was just trying to be nice and keep the peace with everyone, and a wife that hated me from the very start so when I ask a simple question about an item in my room I couldn't find at first, I get cursed out in another language and yelled at and disrespected for it.....and then tried to put ME out like I did something to deserve that.....you guys did not have treat me that way I was a very good customer and I did nothing wrong to anyone there.....yeah thanks for making my stay a...

K. Umh. They actually painted the bathtub apparently a few years ago (like. With wall paint). I’m no plumber. But. Ya. Looks awful. I believe most of the people that are here actually live here via weekly rates. My boss reserved this room, so he’ll hear about it. There are no smoking rooms even though everyone that lives here smokes. I’m assuming it’s so they don’t smoke crack or meth in the rooms. K. So I did give it two stars. There is a pretty awesome cemetery across the street. It is within walking distance of a Subway, convenience store and liquor store. So. Plus for me. They do provide one bar of soap, but honestly, if you don’t want lead poisoning or deep gashes in your feet, I’d just skip showering for a day.
