We had the greatest experience here a couple months ago. We were driving home from OR to MN late one night with a full van (three adults, two small children, and a puppy) when our transmission went out just off of the interstate. We called The Broken Spur Motel and they came and picked us all up in two separate trips. The owners were so helpful and compassionate towards our situation. Our van was not able to be fixed for several days, so we had to rent a car for the remainder of the trip. They brought us to the rental hub in another town about 30 miles away and stayed with us until we were on our way. Thank you Broken Spur for keeping my family and...
Read moreThis place is a great find if you're like me and prefer the mom-and-pop feel of a small town motel like this. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The motel itself is nothing special but had all of the basic amenities with 2 exceptions: There was no in-room coffee (perhaps a post COVID thing). And there was just one miniscule bar of soap at the sink -- in the bathroom there were soap and shampoo dispensers, but they did not work. But the bed was extremely comfortable and the work area was good. Not a bad place, but probably worth more like $95-$105 a...
