Voyager's Inn Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Three Rivers

We got stuck in the UP on the way home due to the wind closing down the bridge. We waited for 8 hours and gave up sitting at the casino and I booked the room at 4:23 pm online in the parking lot of the casino. We drove to the hotel and checked in and got in our room and literally 2 minutes later at 5:07 got the text that the bridge opened up so we rolled our luggage right back out down to the desk to see if any way we could get a refund/discount anything because we had kids to get back home too and they stated they couldn't give a refund at all even though we barely walked in the door. Not even a discount or anything. They had plenty of rooms available and our last minute booking didn't prevent them from losing any business at all. Some places are just all about the money and there is no compassion for people anymore. $150 for 2 minutes in a room. Come on! They could have charged us $50 or something? ...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this location while I was on a work trip. We opted for this location over the other 'chain hotels' and it was worth it. The decor was exceptional and the inn provided a quiet atmosphere to relax. The shared spaces for dining, relaxing, and reading are well-kept and maintained perfectly; I wish I had more time during my stay to enjoy them.

We were traveling to the White Pigeon/Sturgis area and were looking for a place to stay. I found this Bed and Breakfast as Hotels don't seem to be the best place to get rest these days. I booked the room and Caryn was very accommodating. The room was very clean and neat and decorated beautifully. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good.
