On or about Sept 8, I called the front desk and spoke to Jack. I wanted to clarify some charges on my bill. I inquired about the linen charge (140 dollars). I let him know that I didn't use that service. I washed my own linen. He stated that he'll take the charges off going forward but will not refund the money. He asked, "Doesn't your daughter come down every week to change out your linen." That's impossible because I don't have a daughter. I let him that I was charged for something that I wasn't using. Jack because rude, disrespectful, belligerent and started belittling me saying "You've lived here 4 months. You should've been aware of the charges and said something then. I would've noticed!" I told him not to talk to me like that and he was being rude. Undeterred, Jack continued in his hateful, angry tirade, "I'm not being rude or sarcastic!" He continues to repeat that I should've known and he would've. He then (in an act of retaliation), yells "YOU KNOW WHAT, WHEN YOU GET HOME TODAY, GET OUT!!! I'M PUTTING YOUR CHECKOUT DAY AS TODAY!" I let him know that we didn't have anywhere to go. When he kept shouting, I hung up the phone. I reached out guest relations who said they were unable to assist me. My son tried to talked him. Jack claimed that there was nothing he could do. His boss would get upset. He also said 'I don't like the way that she talked to me." Jack proceeded to call the police and they sat outside the property for several hours. We had to leave on short notice which took most of the day and I missed a day of work because of Jack! Charging someone for services/goods not provided is fraud. Businesses can be sanctioned for this because it's illegal. As a consumer, I have a right to understand any charges that appear on debit or credit cards. When Jack took adverse action against me for exercising this right, that was retaliation. This matter needs to be followed up on by his boss. I called and tried to obtain that information. Jack asked me if he could do. I told him no. I didn't elaborate because yesterday is when he should've...
Read moreMy daughter and son drove from New Orleans to Phoenix on the 17th. They arrived in Phoenix on the 18th VERY LATE and tired, and went to their other extended stay hotel only to find roaches and dirt. They slept in my daughter's car after they tried to find another hotel with no luck. The next morning my daughter called me crying and I started looking for a hotel IMMEDIATELY. My coworker and I went to Expedia and found this hotel and met Nevin on the phone. I MUST say that he has made this horrible mess for a Mother in New Orleans who was sick and worried about my 28 and 21-year-old. Nevin took care of them and my daughter was able to get a shower and rest before her interview, (which got with the Salary that she requested) Thank you so much. Now my husband and I are here and the only problem I have is the bed. Other than that. I would recommend this hotel. Also, Nevin wasn't here today, but Evelyn was and she also assisted us with getting another place to stay because this hotel is booked through the weekend. Nevin and Evelyn are the GEMS of this place....
Read moreThe whole staff is very nice and polite. I love the decor and we were comfortable BUT, watch out because my daughter was staying here since July 15 and was paying, because of course nobody will let you stay if you don’t pay. But on August 20th $1190 was taken out of her bank account all at once and it made her account negative and then her work check was deposited and the bank took it to cover the money that was overdraft. When we talked to the GM he said it happened to several people because they were switching systems!? All I’m saying is do not give this hotel your bank information. If you can, pay with a debit card because these people will act funny with your money!! And there is almost nothing you can do about it except call corporate and the bank. And they are no help either. It’s sad because she finally found an apartment for her and her daughter. And this hotel took a big chunk of her money! Unacceptable and unprofessional! I feel like they took advantage of my daughter’s...
