My second time here and my wife's first. She loved the campgrounds, so much so that we will be booking Labor Day 2025 as soon as we are able to. The staff is beyond friendly and always able to answer any questions we had. They really take care of the grounds here. We love the fact that it's a small campground. The pier offers a place to fish or just go stare at the stars. Firewood is on the expensive side, $14 for 6 or 7 pieces of wood that burn quickly. Ice is reasonable at $3 a bag. The one thing I would suggest is updated bathrooms/shower facilities. Showers were like warm at best. They have a playground for the kids. Thanks for a great Labor Day weekend. See you...

But I think the real attraction here is the history and points of interest within walking distance. The lighthouse you see in photos is a very short walk from your campsite, with great views of the lake and bridge from there. You have the bridge itself you can walk across(to Vermont), with some pretty spectacular views of the area. Directly across the road from the campground are the Fort Crown Point ruins, which are amazing to walk into and experience. I highly recommend. Overall a decent campground with a lot of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery nice campground, if you get a good site. The staff at the entry was very friendly and helpful. The location is great because there are stunning views of the lake and bridge. Plus there is an attractive lighthouse right in the campground. A short walk across the road takes you to the ruins of two old forts, one English and one French. Great sunsets. The only downside is that some of sites retain water during rainy weather. I rode in on a bicycle and went through all of the sites scavenging for some firewood. My site was dry, but some (especially those closer to the road, away from the lighthouse) were swampy and I wouldn't have wanted to...
