Read moreMy impressions from my late January 2022 stay: Clean (no roaches/bedbugs) and tidy. Maybe a tad dusty in hard to reach areas. Unfortuneatley my family was moved around almost every night we spent here (about 5 nights) but each room we went to was pretty clean, minus one room that had dried urine on the toilet seat. Sadly the bath tubs have textured bottoms and so the bottom always looked grey no matter how clean they were.
First night we were moved there was a problem with their hot water heater, then they moved us to a non-pet room and wanted to move us back to a pet-room, then there was yet another hot water issue. Overall, our problems were solved and if they weren't we were given complemntary nights (hence the longer stay). We stayed in the winter, so no comment on the pool. Breakfast is all premade, warmed up frozen omlettes, sausage, etc. Honestly, very salty or very surgary breakfast options with some lack-luster fruit options (green bananas every morning and low quality oranges/apples). They have joice for the morining. The complementary coffee wasn't bad. The little coffee maker doubled as a "kettle" to boil water for oatmeal. The microwaves were clean, the TVs were fine. Furniture was nice and not cheap/breaking down.
Sometimes there's issues with their keycards not working, I got locked out one night and had to walk all the way around the building. Apparently if you extend your stay you need new key cards because they'll expire at check-out time even if you've paid to stay longer.
Heating worked very well, the room was warm and the beds were comfortable. There's older reviews that say the beds are bad and I believe they've been replaced since then seeing that I was in 5 different rooms during my stay (all the rooms I stayed in were in the "F" wing).
Houskeeping was phenominal minus that one toilet seat issue, towels were always really clean, same with the bedsheets and pillowcases, and they were super helpful in picking up the trash my family genreated during our stay. If you do stay here, tip housekeeping at least 20%, they're deserving of much more.
There is a gentleman that works here in the mornings and handles the breakfast, he's very chatty and nosey and made me feel uncomfortable with the questions he was asking me. They were inappropriate questions and when I mentioned my spouse to get him to back off he wasn not deterred. I would suggest additional training for him. The front desk woman for during the daytime is absolutely amazing. Wonderful service from her. The nighttime front desk woman is nice.
If you stay here you have to try the resuraunt, Garcia's, absolutely delicious. It's also 3 minutes from any place you...
Read moreAbsolutely nasty. This place should be shut down. It's out dates inside and out. The rooms aren't very clean especially the bathrooms. There is no fan or ventilation in the bathroom. Our bathroom tub wouldn't drain when starting a shower. We switched rooms and the new room was slightly better than the first. The wall AC units are old and loud. Being so close to the thruway kept us all up all night. Seems like a good part of this hotel isn't being used and some of the rooms seem like odd people live there. The smell of the hotel is terrible they had plug in Air freshener down the hallways on high and that gave me a headache and didn't help cover the old musty, smoky, greasy smell that's throughout the hotel. Breakfast was just as bad. Very poor quality food and items remained unfilled. The front desk staff was slow and not very friendly or inviting. I called prior to arriving to confirm something on my reservation and the phone rang 10-15 times with no answer. I had to call 5 times before someone answered the phone. Outside the property has been neglected overgrown bushes or dead landscaping. The lawn wasn't mowed. There were multiple shipping container parked in the back of the hotel. This place had a odd, uninviting feel, sketchy. Something is definitely off here. We saw maybe two employees the whole time we were there. This place is very overpriced for one night for the quality of it. It's dirty, dated and seems very unsafe.
I wish I could get a refund what a waste of money. DONT STAY HERE YOULL REGRET IT LIKE WE DO!! It seems like they are struggling to keep this place open doing the...
