We continued to extend our stay, it was that good! Stayed in a two story cabin with huge lower half bath and full size kitchen appliances. When you enter the driveway at this cabin, you are greeted by a lush green grass front yard complete with chairs, fire ring, grill and stamped concrete. The interior is spotless and has classy touches of Adirondack decor and comfortable first floor seating. Upstairs feels spacious with a large full bath and two very useable bedrooms. The clean beach has plenty of seating for guest of the cottages and is a very short walking distance from the cabins. Swings and games for the kids was a bonus along with lifejackets to use for some of the included items, like kayaks! View is priceless at anytime if the day! The walk into the town of Inlet is less than a 1/2 mile and even appears to have all new sidewalks! Kalil’s grocery and Inlet department store has everything, without resort town prices. Families will love walking into town for to play at the town park and for ice cream. If having a large gathering, meeting up at the beach in the town of Inlet is a great option with a nice changing area and plenty of parking. The shops are easy to go in and out of with really nice items that don’t feel commercial. The owners at Peter’s, went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated! They allowed us to have privacy, but we knew all we had to do was ask if we needed anything or had a concern. Truly a wonderful stay when all you have to do is wake up and relax, they have it all if your looking for an Adirondack vacation! As we were at Peter’s through our short stay, you could see the ongoing transformation that is changing with the times. We truly felt the owners have a goal of bringing people to connect face to face and feeling like they are getting something extra special, at a very realistic price point. It’s nice to know a hard working family went on a vacation and...
Read moreI rented 3 cottages for a week so we could spend the week with our two sons, our daughters-in-law and our grandchildren. Richard was very helpful in helping me decide on which cabins. We stayed in 3 of the new cabins and they were extremely comfortable and wonderfully decorated in the Adirondack style. We rented a boat for the week and were able to tie it to the dock. The beach is clean and well suited for young children. There were kayaks, a canoe, a rowboat, beach toys and games available. Our grandchildren ranged from 9 to 15, so older children can also have a great time. There is a sidewalk into town so they can walk there on their own. Peter's is 15 minutes from The Enchanted Forest and Water Park. We spent an entire day there having a great time. Each cabin has a fire pit and wood is available (for a small fee) so we enjoyed a campfire most nights. The place is very family friendly and, since the owners are on site and available, any questions or needs were addressed immediately. We have stayed in many places in the Adirondacks over 40 years and Peter's is one...
Read moreWe had an absolutely amazing stay at 4th Lake. The cottage was so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The views of the lake are incredible! We absolutely enjoyed our cool Fall nights by the fire pit and loved just taking it all in! The cottages are a short walk into town, and our morning walks into Inlet, became one of our favorite things! We loved grabbing a coffee and donuts and hanging at the Park with our boys! And we certainly can't forget our amazing hostess! Tracy is the sweetest soul. She was always out an about on the property, checking to see if we needed anything or just stopping to chat. We felt so at home here! We will definitely be coming back to Peter's 4th Lake...
