We stayed here for my son’s wedding because it was close to the venue. Very disappointed by my stay For starters, every time I tried to get into my room I would have to go to the front desk to get a new key card because mine did not work each and every time. Which was quite annoying!
Second, I don’t like the idea that you have to sign up to have your room cleaned. I have never ever heard of that! After a long Friday day and night of wedding rehearsals and dinner I stopped at the front desk that evening to let the front desk know I would like maid service. The woman that evening running the desk said she would put me on the list, which I still think is ridiculous!!! You should not have to be put on a list to have your room tidied up. Went down to my room and again card key did not work back to lobby I go to get another one. No explanation or apology given at all!
So we go about our Saturday with the wedding and all the festivities. Arrive back at my room around 10:30pm to again find the my card key did not work. This was I think the 6 or 7 th time I had to get a new one. So I truck back to the front desk and get her another new card key. Again no apology at all Open the door , walk in and no one has cleaned my room at all. Dirty towels still there. Bathroom not cleaned , room not touched at all.
Back up to the front desk, spoke with the girl who I had talked to the night before and let her know my room was not cleaned. She asked me if I was on the list, again ridiculous to be a on list for maid service. Told her I was she looked at the list and said I wasn’t on it. Told her that I talked to her personally, she denied talking to me. Asked if I could have some cleans towels at least. It was like I was putting her out!! Then I I finally get the towels she hands me just one. Let her know I need a few more and wash clothes too. Very rude!!!
That Sunday while all the people who were wedding guest were chatting. They all had the same or about the same negative experiences. One of my son’s groomsman didn’t even have a shower curtain!!! He told the girl at the front desk that Friday night. Needless to say he never got one. For the love of god how do you give someone a room without a shower curtain.!!!! The cleaning person had to notice!!!!
One more thing , paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub that didn’t even work and my son’s room with the jacuzzi tub the handle fell off!!
Will never recommend anyone to stay there. High prices and HORRIBLE experience!!Shame on all of you for making a wonderful wedding weekend so...
Read moreI stayed here as a single female with my dog for two nights. If I hadn't come prepared with my own blankets and pillow I would have demanded a refund and left.
There were DISGUSTING stains on all of the walls in the room. I never took my shoes off, leaving sandals right by the bed at night so my feet didn't touch the floor. I recleaned the bathroom and surfaces on my own when I got there. I was grateful for my forethought to be prepared.
There were many hairs in the tub and in the beds. The housekeepers don't seem to care too much (One girl literally looked like guest as she was wearing her pajamas at work).
The outside doors do not lock at all. Anyone can come in. They let construction workers staying there hang out in the parking lot all night drinking beer and harassing lone females.
The room doors are difficult to unlock - so if you're trying to get into your room in a hurry, you won't be able to. You have to maneuver the handle JUST right in order to get it open and it sometimes takes multiple tries.
There are no upper levels, it is all one ground floor - so if you're traveling alone as a woman I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here.
If I hadn't been worried about confrontation and being refused a refund, I would have complained and left. But I was in an unfamiliar town and had already paid (They make you pay in full at check in.)
Also be advised, on your folio (the receipt basically) it notes that they have the right to enter your room at any time to "check for cleanliness" which is odd because their staff doesn't even do a good job cleaning. For example - the pile of leaves that I walked past on the carpet inside the door was not touched in the 48 hours of being there. It was right outside of the houskeeping room door, so why not clean it up?
If you're a man and on a budget, this place is probably fine for you - but otherwise, trust the reviews I disregarded as angry "karens" being picky .. they were not wrong. This...
