Ling Ling Garden — Restaurant in Town of Ithaca

We used to always enjoy a ling ling meal. However as of late, the last two orders have been extremely disappointing. Chicken with fried rice is now fried rice where you need a microscope to find any chicken if there is any. I received the wrong sauce for my meal, A very spicy one I might add not sure if there’s a new chef or what the challenge is. What I found most disturbing, was when I called to let them know I was told that is not possible there was definitely more chicken than we had counted. Another words, accusing me of lying. When I brought that up I was laughed at snd told to bring it back so she could see it! Seriously???? Were they planning to count it themselves?? We were hungry and already had driven there once, but to bring it back while the rest of the dinner got cold? Not once was there an apology Not a one. Instead I was indirectly accused of being dishonest. I have been getting my Chinese food from there since 2011. They just lost a customer. Frankly I don’t think they even care. Today I ordered their Chicken and Cashew with pork Fried Rice . I was very disappointed on how there was very litlle chicken and more water chestnuts then anything else. I called and spoke with the gentleman that took care of me when I placed my order he said that he apologizes and that if I can bring back the plate which would not have been a problem if I was nearby, but unfortunately I was 20 minutes away. He then added well I can save it for later and bring it in and they can give me a credit the credit would have been a Eggroll he mentioned nothing about another order food or money back just an egg roll. I said don't worry about it it's okay I just know better for next time there will be no next time. It's not like they dont know who I am i have been going here for 6 months now at least...

I wanted to like this place but was very disappointed. The waiter forgot part of our order and when we pointed it out his only response was " oh". Egg drop soup was good but salty. Had szcheaun chicken and was generous portion of tender white meat chicken but the peppers were very tough and stringy. Sauce for this dish was ok. The waiter finally brought out our missing appetizer of cold noodles with sesame sauce. It was horrible. Tasted like sour and spoiled vinegar.
