I stayed here for three days while exploring the area. The Rooster Comb Inn is conveniently located across the street from the Noon Mark Diner and the Old Mountain Coffee Company; great places to grab a meal and a fresh cup of coffee. As I mentioned in the title, this location is prefect if you are hiking up to Indian Head. The Parking Lot and trailhead are about 2.5 miles away. The parking lot fills up pretty early so plan accordingly. ||Whiteface Mountain is about 15 miles away and has spectacular views over Lake Placid and the Adirondacks. (See my shared photo)||The Rooster Comb Inn is very clean and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay with them again when I visit in the fall. They have a clean, shared kitchen for the guests in case you would like to cook meals, A full size refrigerator and plenty of space to sit and eat. They have plenty of seats on the deck so you can enjoy your meals in the fresh air or you can sit inside if you don't want to be bothered by elements.||All guests share bathrooms, but they have more than enough to choose from... they are all clean and well supplied.||I am happy I found this place and would like to thank the đ for contributing to my...

We used the kitchen to make a nice breakfast in the am and kind of wish we got there earlier the night before to meet some of the other guests, but by the time we arrived most were in...
